Kara Pov
Today I woke up just like any other day. My alarm went off (i broke it of courses), I make a plate stacked with 20 pancakes (yum), and I texted Lena good morning.
Lena Luthor. What a woman. She is my best friend here in National City and has been for about 6 months.
She is so sweet and caring and you would think by her exterior that she is a stone cold bitch but she's super kind and compassionate.
That's what I stand for. Kind and compassion for all.
As Supergirl, I have to live up to that. I love being national city's hero and it's so rewarding helping people and being kind. Being a beacon for hope.
Anyway, back to Lena. She doesn't know i'm supergirl. I know, I know, before you think anything, i'm only not telling her to keep her safe. That's all I ever want to do it so keep her safe.
Lena is so important to me that I will do literally anything to keep her safe; so that means keeping myself and Supergirl separate from Lena.
I just I lov- I care about her too much to jeopardize our friendship and her safety.
Today I'm super excited though. I'm going to L Corp for lunch with Lena which I love so much. I mean- I try to have lunch with her everyday just to make sure she eats but most of the time Snapper gets to me before I can get out.
Another thing that I'm excited about it that Alex is coming over tonight for sister night! Rao I love her. She's the best thing that's happened to me... well... along with Lena of course.

Walking into Catco I see a swarm of people moving every which way and it's just purely chaos.
In the corner by James office there are papers flying everywhere, Eve has Ms. Grants coffee spilled on her desk and everyone is in a panic. But that is like normal.
I walk into Ms. Grants office and slowly shut the door, seeing that she is on the phone with her chair turned around facing her wall of many TVs.
I stand there waiting patiently for the phone call to end and for Ms Grant to sense my presence but to no avail, she continues to talk.
A couple minutes have passed and I clear my throat softly to see if that will get her attention.
"It's not that I don't know you're in here Keira, it's just that you seem to have no interest in letting me know of your presence besides the bouncing up and down you've been doing that I don't care to giving you my attention." said Ms Grant turning around and taking her large sunglasses from her face.
"Oh- uh, sor- sorry Ms Grant. Um..." I continue trying not to stutter. "I just came to give you a new latte because Eve spilled your other one on her desk." I say and slightly push up my glasses by the rims on my face- a nervous habit I acquired over time.
"Well don't just stand there like my ex husband when he got his divorce papers in a strip club, bring me the latte." snarled Ms Grant.
Ms Grant may sound like she's a demon, and she very well might be, but she is the closest thing to a mother that I have besides Eliza, my adoptive mother.
"Sorry Ms Grant. I'm going to go back to work now. Um- bye?" I say questions my existence because of how embarrassing that encounter was.
"Keira-" Ms Grant calls right before I reach for the door.
"Yes Ms. Grant?"
"Are you going to see Luthor during lunch today?" She asks with a smirk.
"Umm- uh... yes, yes ma'am. Not unless Snapper pulls me away for an interview somewhere." I reply hesitantly.
