Kara Pov
A couple of hours gone by and Lena was still working. She said she was almost done but her work takes a lot of time. It was really hard in particular this time because I refused to get up off her lap.
She threatened to call security but I knew she wouldn't risk someone seeing this so I just sat there laying my head on her shoulder while she typed away on her fancy computer after giving up.
Eventually, I had fallen asleep.
"Kara darling?" Lena asked, trying to see if I was awake. I was in fact partially awake but I didn't say anything or move.
After noticing I was supposedly asleep, she says, "You are so beautiful, Kara" and placed a gentle kiss on my head.
"You should look in a mirror" I say and slowly open my eyes to see the biggest grin on the raven haired CEO.
I then sit up and turn to give Lena a kiss.
Magic.
I pulled away and looked Lena straight in the eye and I saw the look she had. I leaned back down and we pressed our lips together hard.
Our lips moved together until we ran out of breath and I pulled away.
"I guess we needed to finish what we started earlier" I said and gave Lena a smirk.
"I guess so" Lena said and raised an eyebrow.
With me still on her lap, Lena looked at her watch and saw it was almost 6:30 at night.
"Oh my god, we're going to be late to my own girls night party." Lena said and I hustled to grab all my things so we could get going.
"I'm calling my car, it will be here in about 10 minutes." Lena said and put all her things on this thin table next to her door.
"Mk" I said and we waited until about 5 minutes later and we went down the elevator to get to the car.
