Wanda must've fallen asleep after finishing her lunch, even though she didn't remember lying down. She peered over the clock on her bedside table and saw it hadn't been long, just an hour or so but there were no awful nightmares so she took that as a plus. And as if right on cue, there was a soft knock on her door. Wanda froze, hoping whomever it was would leave yet again; but there was another soft knock and a meek little "Wanda?" following. It was Mila. Wanda sighed and got up to open the door, Mila's aura strong. Her soft curly hair was down again like this morning and there were small white flowers tucked into a braid at the front of her hair which matched the flowers on her sundress. Wanda relaxed a bit at the sight of the sweet girl.

"Yes?" She asked, albeit still a bit cold in demeanor, cursing herself again.

"Uh.. Agent Ro- I mean, Natasha and I were wondering if you wanted to join us into town for some shopping.. Tony is holding a party on Friday and wants us all to be there..." she asked hesitantly.

"Sure, let me change and I'll meet you downstairs," Wanda responded.

Mila's eyes widened but she smiled and skipped lightly to the elevator. Wanda wondered what had come over herself, not usually one to "hang out" or even join Natasha for shopping, but perhaps it'll give her a chance to get to know Mila better.

She changed into jeans and a nice crimson blouse with some ankle boots; unsure of where Natasha would be taking them to shop. When she's not in her combat uniform, Natasha is usually the height of fashion, shopping at private boutiques and such for the latest styles. She met Mila and Natasha in the common area and she caught Mila staring or at least that's what it felt like. The aura around her although still warm and kind, had changed a bit and Wanda couldn't quite put a pin on it.

"You look really nice, Wanda!" Mila said, smiling.

"I agree. You clean up nice, kid," Natasha said smiling along with Mila.

"T-thank you," Wanda responded, swallowing thickly, not being used to being the center of attention.

The girls followed Natasha to the garage and picked a white Audi to take into the city. She was one of the only ones that Tony trusted to drive his cars. The drive was silent except for some news station playing quietly in the background. Mila had called shotgun and Wanda didn't understand so she climbed in the backseat like she had planned to anyway. Just as she predicted, a private boutique with a valet service even. The shop assistant asked for all of their sizes and brought racks into this large dressing room in the back. They changed into the first dresses on the their respective racks and stepped out from their curtains to show each other.

"Wanda.. do you mind?" Mila asked blushing, asking for help with her zipper on the back of her dress. Wanda stepped over to the girl as Mila swept her long hair over her shoulder; Wanda noticing she wasn't wearing a bra as she zipped her dress slowly, her hands lingering longer than they should. She also noticed Mila had a tattoo on her back left shoulder, a bunch of numbers looking like coordinates.

"Thank you Wanda," Mila said, her golden brown eyes twinkling as she looked at her. Her warm aura drawing Wanda in again.

"WOW MILA!" Natasha exclaimed. "That's it. That's the one. Leave the rest!!"

"She's right, you look great Mila," Wanda added, which was probably the first kind thing she's said to the girl.

Wanda watched as Mila blushed a deep crimson as her and Natasha looked her up and down in her dress. A silky black number, ending just above her knees with a deep plunge in the front, showing just enough cleavage.

"You both look great too!" Mila smiled.

"Ehh this isn't me, I'm gonna ask for a pant suit I think," Natasha replied, smirked.

"You think so?" Wanda asked, cursing in her head for letting down her guard, but Mila's warm aura and smile was contagious. She watched as Mila nodded, looking her up and down in her slinky floor length red gown.

"Hell yeah Wanda, you look hot," Natasha looked her once over and winked. Wanda tried to hide the shiver that went down her spine as both women stared, again, still not used to the attention.

Natasha found the pant suit she was looking for, a velvet navy blue with no blouse underneath, Wanda swearing both women were trying to kill her. She always knew she was attracted to women but wasn't used to being surrounded by such beautiful ones all the time and has never really had time for a relationship with much of anyone for that matter. She shook her head to clear the thoughts and noticed Mila was staring at her.

"Wanna take a picture?" Wanda asked, trying to stay lighthearted. Mila's eyes went wide and she started to stammer an apology but Wanda laughed. "I'm joking! Do you need help with your zipper again?" she asked.

"Oh uh y-yes please," Mila still taken aback by Wanda joking with her. Wanda stepped closer (maybe a little too close but she'll never admit that was on purpose) and undid the hook and eye and unzipped Mila's zipper of her dress. She watched as a shiver ran down Mila's spine and Wanda smirked.

"You okay?" Wanda asked teasingly.

"Y-yeah uh your hands are really cold," Mila said quietly.

"Oh! Im sorry!" Wanda giggled. Mila's warm aura was very contagious. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to hang around her more..

"Ladies!" Natasha called out. "Put your clothes back on! The dresses are paid for!"

The two girls scattered, clamoring to put their clothes back on as Natasha does not like to wait. They headed out, the dresses being delivered to the compound tomorrow so they didn't have to carry them. They headed back outside, the valet already pulling the car forward.

"Natasha?" Mila spoke.

"Hmm?"

"I'm starving, can we eat?" she asked sheepishly. The other two girls laughed and Mila was as red as a tomato. "Did I say something wrong?"

"No babe, of course we can eat!" Natasha replied, putting her hand on Mila's shoulder.

"Are you hungry Wanda?" Mila asked, hoping for a yes. Wanda nodded, smiling at the sweet girl in front of her.

"What do you girls think of getting some Italian food?" Natasha asked.

"I've never tried authentic Italian food before," Wanda said quietly.

"Well I don't know how authentic it's gonna get here but it'll be pretty damn close!" Natasha responded.

"Oh my gosh! Wanda you're gonna LOVE IT!! So much pasta and bread and oh my goodness CHEESE!!" Mila rambled on excitedly, with the likeness of a small child. Wanda laughed, she felt like she was floating amongst all the positive energy from Mila and wasn't sure what to do about it besides accept it for now.

Natasha drove to one of the fanciest restaurants that Wanda has ever seen; which in retrospect, hasn't been many considering her small town wasn't a very wealthy place. She's glad she wore a nice outfit and if she was being completely honest, she made sure one less button was done after getting redressed at the boutique, feeling quite brave for the evening.

The three women ordered and Natasha and Mila watched as Wanda devoured her food like they had never seen. Mostly because she doesn't eat with the group ever but they were pretty sure she's never been that excited before.

"Mila you were so right! I want to eat this forever!" Wanda gushed, and Mila smiled so big.

"Wanda you've got a little..." Mila said, pointing to her own chin.

"Hmm?" Wanda said, mouth full of pasta.

Mila reached forward with her thumb and swiped just below Wanda's bottom lip to remove the sauce from her face. Wanda froze, the touch was innocent but it sent sparks through her whole body.

"I-I'm sorry I don't know why I didn't ask first.. I'm so sorry Wanda," she rambled. Wanda grabbed her hand and squeezed.

"It's okay, Mila." Mila knew she meant it. She could feel it in her touch.

Something was different about Mila. A good different, but nonetheless different.
