Amelia

Lucas insisted to play dinosaurs with Marcus, we went to the grocery store to bring them and then we went to the park. Marcus made sure we sat on our bench.

I sat on the bench while Marcus and Lucas sat on the ground and played with dinosaurs. I wasn't allowed to play since Lucas said I suck and Marcus said, "No. It's father-son time. Sit down." I would be lying if I said it didn't annoy me for a bit. Cause Marcus just came back four hours ago and he's already becoming Lucas's favorite parent. I mean I love that they're getting along, it's just – I'm supposed to be the favorite parent... why? Just because I'm cooler.

"The Velothaptor." Lucas pointed at the Velociraptor for Marcus to pick up. I saw a grin playing on his lips at the way Lucas said it.

He picked it up then threw it away immediately. I got concerned at why he threw it that fast.

"You want me to lose!" Marcus laughed, "You know the T-Rex would win over the Velociraptor," Lucas laughed, it's the fakest laugh I had ever heard. It's like he was puffing air. He threw his hands to his sides, as if he's saying, 'I don't know what you're talking about.', "No..." "It'th better."

Marcus pinched his chubby cheek. "You little liar."

Lucas giggled, "Hmm." He nodded to the Velociraptor. Even though he got busted he still wants to win. I chuckled at his behavior.

Marcus obeyed him and picked it up.

I love them so much.

Watching Marcus play with Lucas is literally the best thing ever. They get along so well – better than I expected to be honest. Marcus is the best father ever. He loves Lucas so much even though they just met. Their chemistry is so amazing. They both are so amazing.

The way Marcus acts around Lucas is just so beautiful for me to watch. He's so gentle with him. He makes sure Lucas is happy and, of course, winning all the time.

When Lucas is busy looking at his dinosaurs – I catch Marcus admiring him with his eyes full of love and adoration. When he's looking at Lucas I look at him and I think he senses it because after admiring Lucas he looks at me and smiles with his big eyes of admiration.

"I already miss him." Marcus groaned. Jake took Lucas so we could have some time together. He's acting like me when I first gave birth, I now understand why they made fun of me.

I snorted at him. "He'll be back later."

Marcus stopped walking when we reached my old apartment, I forgot to tell him that I rented a bigger one. I smiled, walking back to him and holding his hand to drag him to my apartment. Still not giving him any context.

I opened my apartment's door, his eyes widened as he saw the apartment – it isn't that big, it's just much-much bigger than the old one. I saved a lot of money so that Lucas would grow up in a bigger place, so that when Marcus comes back he'd see how much I've worked and be proud of me. Yes, maybe I am looking for his validation all the time, but his validation makes me feel good. Knowing he's proud of me makes me feel good.

We walked inside and his eyes – of course – focused on the wall in the living room. It's a wall that's filled with paintings I painted, all of them are moments throughout my pregnancy and raising Lucas. That's the other reason on why I filmed everything I felt like was special.

There's a painting of when I found out I was pregnant with a boy – I replaced Jake's head with Marcus's.

A painting of when I first laid Lucas on my chest, I painted Marcus instead of Jake.
