Pandemic

Suddenly we are all aliens.
Suddenly everyone is a threat.
We've woken up foreigners on a planet we believed belonged to us but today has been declared off limits.
The government told us be wary,
Cause here comes a virus that's scary.
To complete all our tasks,
We must wear gloves and masks.
Stay in your gates,
Don't play with your mates.
We're not able to roam,
Our school uniforms will soon be outgrown.
The roads became much calmer.
The streets were quieter.
The world was getting ill.
And a virus was to blame.
We paint rainbows to try bring some light.
But for now, there's no place like home.
