The Death of Tobirama

"Well boys, would ya' look at this! We've gone and found ourselves a stray Hokage!"

The banter rang through the clearing with clarity, Tobirama didn't react though, any distractions would decrease his already minute chance of escaping, and that couldn't be allowed, no matter how much he trusted Hiruzen to run Konoha as Hokage, it would be much better for the Village if he were to escape.

Besides, Tobirama already had a plan, he would do combat with these fools, and then use the Flying Thunder God to escape, and then he would rendezvous with Hiruzen and the others. That plan went straight out of the window, as a large orange barrier surrounded Tobirama and the Kinkaku Force.

"Surprised, Hokage-sama? We know all about your Flying Thunder God, and we prepared accordingly, this bad boy will keep you trapped here with us!"

Tobirama frowned, that would certainly be difficult to circumvent, but he knew that the Kinkaku Force would also have the disadvantage here, they were presumably four members down, and if he could stall for long enough he the Ninja keeping up the barrier would run out of chakra, with that on his mind, he decided his plan would stay relatively the same, he would stall, and then escape with the Flying Thunder God after the barrier went down.

Tobirama's eyes swept over the group of Ninja assembled in front of him, 16 Jonin, so it seemed as if his initial observation was right, they were four people down. Kinkaku and Ginkaku stood in front of the assembled Ninja, grinning at him. Kinkaku wielded the Banana Palm Fan, one of the Tools of the Sage of Six Paths that Kumogakure was in possession of -clearly it had been stolen- the Golden Canopy Rope was wrapped tightly around Kinkaku's arm. The Crimson Gourd lay in Ginkaku's arm, along with the Seven Star Sword, he didn't know where the Amber Purifying Pot was, but he wouldn't complain about the two brothers not having another powerful weapon in their arsenal.

"Banana Palm Fan: Coil of Fire"

Tobirama almost laughed at the sheer thought of using a fire jutsu against the world's premier water ninjutsu specialist, but managed to rein himself in. He blazed through one handed hand seals, before spewing water from his mouth.

"Water Release: Water Formation Wall"

A large wall of water formed from the water he had just formed, clashing with the massive blast of fire that was sent his way by Kinkaku, steam enveloped the battlefield from the clash of their jutsu, and so Tobirama used this to his advantage, forming two Shadow Clones to distract his opponents.

Sure enough, Kinkaku and Ginkaku had split up to deal with the Shadow Clones that were striking at the Kumogakure Ninja from within the cover of the steam, he used the Flying Thunder God, and appeared with the clone fighting Kinkaku, and drew his sword, slashing it towards the surprised Kinkaku, two swords intercepted, and Tobirama smirked from a distance as the Shadow Clone exploded after Tobirama had substituted with a small pebble, and although Kinkaku survived by using the Banana Palm Fan as a shield, the two sword wielding Ninja had been severely wounded by the attack.

"Banana Palm Fan: Coil of Wind"

A massive gust of wind tore across the battlefield as Tobirama dispelled his clones the steam, which had already been fading, completely vanished as Kinkaku's jutsu blew the steam cloud away from the battlefield.

Tobirama stood in front of the Kinkaku Force, as the two Ninja wounded by the Shadow Clones with an explosive tag on it and one other Ninja that had been wounded by Tobirama's other Shadow Clone were healed by a Medical Ninja, an influx of memories from the second Shadow Clone gave him some very useful information.
