The Calm after the acid (Hunter TOH x reader)

You and Hunter had been getting to know each other, and have gotten close. But today, you'll get a little..too close.

You had just gotten another bounty done with Luz and decided to wash off at your house. After you were done you take a stroll in the night market to get some new weapons and possibly find a small adventure by yourself. You had gotten some apple blood and swiped a treasure or two before heading back home. Until you stumbled into an alleyway when you lost the path you usually take back home.

You walk around with weird chittering noises and trills surrounding your senses and move Cautiously around the wide dimly lit alleyway. You see a slightly tall figure stand infront of you, in a brown cloak. "AA! WHAT DO YOU WANT?!" You shrill out while pulling out your (Favorite animal) carved palismen, almost casting a spell in mid air.

"Hey hey, Im just going undercover. It's me hunter." You pull down your palismen and smack him slightly on his shoulder. "You almost scared me half to death."You mutter under your breath before shoving against him and kept walking. "HEY! Not so fast, what are you doing in an alleyway alone? Seems kinda suspicious.." Hunter says slowly pulling down his cloak. "Im just finding my way home. No need to get all hostile on me."

You walk at a faster pace and suddenly, you fall down a trap door and land in a moist ruin. ""AAA! WHERE AM I?" You scream out until you hear a loud thud and see hunter beside you. "AHAH! This is what i was looking for thank you Y/N!"He smacks your back and walks foward skimming the walls of the ruins and smirks.

"This  will get me some praise from the emperor! This is a wild witch hideout." He does a air fist pump and almost starts contacting the coven scouts until the walls start caving in at a slow rate. "HUH? What's happening!?" You stutter out in confusion "TRAPS!" He blurts out as he tries pushing back the wall with no hope.

3 hours had passed, the ruins were now a small 3x3 room. You and Hunter had been in an uncomfortable position that could on be fixed if one of you went on top of eachother. "Hey, hunter. I know this seems weird, but um, can i just like rest my head on your lap? It would create more space." You say with a beet red face looking away from the blonde golden guard. "Hm? Uh uhm, uh. Sure."

Hunter blurts out with his face hot and red. You set your head down on his lap and doze off until suddenly you hear creaking from the rooms walls. The walls were expanding again! You two look up a little but dont move from the slightly awkward but comforting position.
"Im here to save you Y/N!" Luz proclaims and reaches out for your hand until

her eyes widen and see you and hunter laying ontop of eachother. "WHAAAA!" She trails off confused. you both jolt up suddenly while Hunter runs off into the ruins hallways and you can see his beetred face and muttering curses to himself. "WHAT WAS THAT." Luz says in
a excited but concerned voice.

"It was, nothing..We just got a little too close because of the room space we were trapped in? How do you know we were in there anyway?" You say confused. "Oh, your scroll has a setting to sense heartbeat, when ever it elevates it sends a warning to the person its wired too. I might've wired it to my scroll hehe." Luz snickers and trails off about Amity after. You think about how hard your heart was pounding when you were on hunters lap.
