"No need for that, hyung-nim. Say, can I know what time it is now?"

Alver arched a brow at him, but Cale just continued to look at him. Cale is seriously asking him for time. Alver immediately looked at his wristwatch.

"It's already 6:50 in the morning. Dongsaeng, why did you ask? I presume it's not to slack off before the morning assembly right?"

Cale had his eyebrows creased together when he had heard of the time.

"Hmm... that is a problem..."

"You!"

Alver immediately held Cale's head at that moment. He forced Cale's head to look at him as he moved his face closer to his. Alver looked at Cale straight in the eyes, Cale's figure then reflected in Alver's royal blue eyes.

"I won't let you take a single step away from me, my dear dongsaeng. You're not going to miss the morning assembly on my watch!"

"Hyung-nim, I don't think I can attend-!"

Alver moved his head closer to him to the point that their foreheads touched.

"Listen close, you little bastard... I. Said. No."

"No, really, I can't attend-"

"Just stay with me! Do you hate it that much?!"

"Fine! You will go with me then!"

"Huh?"

Cale removed the hand that's holding his head and moved away from Alver's confused face at that moment. He fixed his uniform first and looked at them seriously.

"I don't think I'll have the luxury to explain everything. So I'll give you both a brief explanation..."

"... there would be a series of timed explosions that would happen before 8:00 am. The letter already gave us the time and places where the explosions would happen..."

"... oh, and if you are thinking that we'll have to cut the wires to diffuse the bombs, please drop that thought. It'll be more dangerous."

Alver and Choi Han became serious at that moment. It is an option to stop the morning assembly but it'll cause panic inside the university . Definitely, the sender is watching everything somewhere in the university  as he hides in the dark. That sender might even be snickering right now, knowing how things would unfold.

Cale tapped his disciplinary badge that's pinned in the right chest area of his uniform. The badge glowed at that moment. He cleared his throat before speaking.

"Ahem. Can everyone hear me?"

The badge was actually a communication device, just like your normal walkie-talkie. This badge was created for the purpose of instant communication within the disciplinary committee. Aside from that, communication among the members even if the phone signals are busted is still possible. Plus, this is more convenient and discreet to bring.

[We can hear you, Cale.]

It was Eric's voice. He must be with Amir Ubar and Gilbert Chetter.

[My friend!]

Tunka's loud voice rang from the device. You can even hear Harold Kodiang scolding Tunka to lower down his voice.

[Young lord Cale? Is there something wrong?]

Whitira asked in her worried voice.

[Sir president, I can hear you.]

Taylor Sten responded firm and proper.

"Good..."

It seems like everyone can hear Cale loud and clear.

[Young lord Cale, for you to use our communication device to contact us rather than letting Choi Han message us... are you in pinch?]
