"where am i" i asked
"ah your awake, i'm the physician, duelo McFile" the man introduced i was starting to have a bad feeling
"ah good welcome aboard the nirvana, i am magno vivan captain of this ship" an elderly woman said
"it's a pleasure, ma'am, you remind me of someone actually, you have an illness don't you" i asked she looked shocked
"there was man who commanded a ship called the yamato he also had an illness and died but he got his crew safely home just upon his passing i hope you live just a bit longer then that, i am mikazuki beams akamitsu, i hope to be at your service" i said
"well considering your a pilot, i am sure we can find a use for you we only have one other male pilot and he is a tad brash" magno said with a chuckle
"well i have a bit more of a cool head, i like to think" i said
"we do have questions about your unit it has been disrupting the paxsis which is our engine causing it's power to drop significantly" magno said i sighed
"what did truth give me now" i asked to no one in particular as they led me to the hanger to find the durandal in it's fighter mode making me thoroughly confused
"does it not like the fold quartz" i asked
"i honestly do not know why your engine is acting as it does the fold quartz only purpose was to access the fold fault, and to ease the force of gravitational acceleration" i said
"well that is surprising, we thought you would know" she said i shook my head
"i apologize i do not" i said
"can i have my engineer study your machine" magno asked
"go ahead i have nothing to hide so long as you swear not to steal the thing" i said she nodded
"you have my word" she said i gestured for her to do as she pleases
"very well then um not be rude but where's the mess hall i am quite hungry" i said the old woman chuckled
"BC would you take our new crew member to the mess hall" she asked
"of course follow me, mikazuki" she said i smiled and nodded as i followed the woman
as i was eating alarms went off
"harvesters" one of them said
"harvesters" i asked myself in confusion but i dropped my food and rushed to the hanger launching in the durandal i watched as one of the girls small ships merged with the other mech on board
"huh cool trick" i said as i switched to battroid mode and began to gun down drones with my rifle
"of course this males unit is also a mech, well let's see if i can combine with him" meia said as she zoomed towards him and like she hoped they did combine
"what the hell" i asked
"hi, i'm borrowing your mech" she said leaving me entirely confused
"at least when i combine with you i don't have you sitting on my lap" she said thanking the fact she had her own seat she grabbed the controls and noted how much more fluent they were in comparison to combining with hibiki or remaining separate by far combining with mikazuki was the best course of action for a unit like hers she also noticed she didn't really feel the gravity
"so that's what you meant" she said she was starting to really like this male and his machine
