Third person POV

"Focus Lian. Harness the water." Sensei Qu said, pacing behind the young- black haired boy. "I am focusing." Lian gritted his teeth. "Not enough!" Qu growled. "HOW MUCH MORE FOCUSED, DO YOU WANT ME TO BE?!" Lian snapped, his head swinging around to yell at his teacher. "Until I think you're focused enough!" Sensie Qu shouted back, hitting Lian over the head with a newspaper he had rolled up. Lian scoffed, not bothered by it anymore. "Argh.." Lian sighed, standing up. "Hey, where are you going? We're not done yet!" Qu yelled as Lian walked away, rubbing his head. "I AM! just face it, I can't harness the water!" He yelled, walking through the door.

once he was out of the training room and walking down the hall, he made an abrubt right turn and headed to the guarden right under his bedroom window. He slid down the hard black brick wall, sitting in the dirt. "What good is being born into a water elements family, if I can't even activate my own familys element..." He said, pulling his knees up to his chest, burring his face in his knees.
