Third person POV

Morning came way faster for Lian then he had wanted it to. He was greeted by the sun shining brightly in his eyes and his face being licked repeatedly. "Ugrah!" Lian whined, shoving his wolf's face out of his own. He stayed like that for a while, almost falling back asleep before the wolf jumped onto him, his boney elbow hitting his stomach. "Fang, move!" Lian groaned, scrunching his body up when the blow was delivered. Fang whined, climbing onto his chest where he panted and breathed in his face. Lian gagged. "Fang, off!" He demanded, snaping his fingers and sitting up once Fang had jumped off the bed. Lian sat there for a moment, recalling the strange encounter from last night and processing the information that his Goddess had told him last night.

He had so many questions running around in his head, and he didn't have an answer for any of them at the moment. Whose voice had that been? Why were they singing? What did Kora mean when she said he was meant for something far greater than just taking over as head of the family? Isn't that what everyone in his family had done, even after they could control their element? These were just a few things that crossed his mind. And the more he thought about it, the more confused he became. Fang whined again. Lian snapped out of his daydreaming daze and sighed, getting out of bed. He stretched, groaning. "Time to face the day." He spoke, petting Fang on the head, rubbing his black fluffy ears.

Lians POV

I was petting Fangs ears when Lance barged into my room, kicking my door open. Well, tried too. He fell back once Fance had growled and pounced onto him, pinning him down and snarling at him. "Lian. Please keep your dog from killing me." He chuckled anxiously. I rolled my eyes. "He's a wolf, not a dog Lance." I stated obviously. I walked past the two and headed to my closet to get changed. I heard Lance try to shuffle his way out from under him, but fang growled warning him to stay still. "Hehe. Nice wolfy, nice wolfy..." Lance whispered in a nervous fear. I heard him groan and I peeked out from behind the door to see Fang had plopped down onto him and was licking his paws. I chuckled, slipping a black vest over my long-sleeved crimson button up. I added a red tie and black pants with my boots and walked over to my vanity. "So, you're just going to let him just sit on me the entire time?" Lance asked. I brushed my hair, looking back to him. "Until I'm done, yes." I spoke. Once everything was done, I started to walk out of my door. "Fang come." And he jumped up and off of lance who breathed a sigh of relief and smacked the back of my head. "Thanks for helping me out." He said sarcastically with an eye roll. "Sure, anytime." I say with a smile, earning me another slap on the back of my head.

We had walked into the dining room where the rest of the family was sitting with breakfast in front of them. Mother, father, and Devon all looked up at the same time. "And the beast has awoken!" Devon joked. I rolled my eyes, sitting down. "Sweaty. You know I love you right?" Mom asks. "Of course, I do why?" I asked, seeing how she looked at me. "I love you very much, but...does your dog, really have to be by your side all the time?" She asked. I looked at Fang who had his ears perked up, sitting beside me, staring out at the room, guarding me. "He's a wolf, not a dog. And yes, that's his job." I spoke, annoyed. "Of course." She said, patting my head and eating her food.

I looked at fang. He was only a 300lb wild black demon wolf that took a liking to me since I was six. I don't get what they were so scared of. They're just being dramatic. I sent to Fang, he looked up at me. I'm way better than a stupid dog...right? Fang asked. I chuckled, nodding. "So, are you going to change?" Lance asked. I looked up. "For what?" I questioned. "We are going to the track today with our friends." Lance said. "Your, friends." I corrected. He looked at me and sighed. "My, friends." He said. "Right, I'll just go in this." I spoke out, handing my plate to Amanda. "Okay...I'll be up in an hour or so." lance said, picking at him food. "Okay."
