Rhapsody

Chapter 3

"Jordan?" I throw my keys on the tble by the door. Place my bag next to it and go to the kitchen. "Yes  Mrs. Jacobs?" She turns to me. "Do you know if Nate will be back today or straight to his party?" I shrug and shake my head. "He didn't say. Can I help with dinner?" She smiles and mentions to the carrots. "If you could please chop them up for me." I go and wash my hands first. Grab a knife and start chopping. "How is the work?"

I take a moment to think the answer through and then answer. "It's going well. I'm really enjoying it so far. I told Aaron I think I'm going to write my thesis and get my PhD in Psychology." She stops with what she is doing. I look up as she walk over to me. Pulls me into a tight hug. "Honey, that is amazing news." I smile and hug her back. "Hey, Mom, you think I can have my girl for the night if you two aren't to busy."

I turn to look at Aaron. He is nicely dressed and I have a big frown on my head and then it hits me. Date night. "I forgot." I wipe my hands and turn to him. He has an amused look on his face. Give me 15 minutes to get ready." I give him a quick kiss before running upstairs. After 15 mintes I came down all dressed up for date night

"You look absolutely beautiful." I smile at him and goes in for a quick kiss that turned into a deep kiss. "Jordan, you look gorgeous." I pull away from Aaron and turn to see Cal Jacobs, Aaron's dad, behind me. He always had a way to make me feel uncomfortable with the way he looked at me.

"Thank you, Mr. Jacobs." I give him q polite smile and cuddle into Aaron's side. His arm slides around my waist pulling me close. "We'll see you guys later." Marsha waves at us and Cal just keeps staring. "You're dad seriously freaks me out sometimes." He kisses the side of my head, open the passenger side of his truck for me to get in.

As we make our way to the restaurant I watch as we pass some teenagers on their way to McKay's party.

"There's Nathan." I push my way inside the house and past the bodies. I look over to where April is pointing for me and I see Nathan chatting with Sidney. "I thought we agreed to not let him get to you?" She nods and grab my hand. As we finally get into the living room Trevor decided to make a big announcement.

"Ladies and gents my I please have your attention, please make way for our Queen B as she so humbly presents herself to us. Jordan Callahan!" Everyone starts to cheer. I spot Aaron leaning against the doorframe behind Trevor. I wink at him and drag April behind me to the kitchen. "What will you have, beer or beer?" I hold up the blue and red cup.

She grabs the blue one. "Beer it will be." I laugh as I take the red one for myself. I feel arms wrapping around my waist. A big smile is spreading out on my face. April rolls her eyes as I lean into the petson behind me. I turn around in his arms. Lean up and capture his lips with mine. The kiss is bitter from the beer he has been drinking.

"While you two get lost in each other I'm going to find Emily and Courtney." I wink at her as she dissapears. Aaron picks me up, I wrap my legs around his waist as he place me in the counter top. I scoot back and lean against the cupboards. I run a hand through his hair. "What's wrong?" He shakes his head as his hands rest on my thighs. Drawing small circles. "Talk to me."

I know not to push so I just pull him closer and let him rest his head on my chest while I ran some fingers through his hair. After a few minutes he pulls away looks up at me, tugs some hair behind my ear and kiss me. This kiss is deep and passionate. I immediately respond and kiss back, opening my mouth to give him access.

"Hey, lovers why don't you join us for a game of suck n blow." I give him a middle finger before pulling away. Aaron helps me down as we make our way to the living room. I make myself comfortable on his lap. After a few rounds people are pretty wasted. We are listening to Trevor and George tell us a story about the time they went on summer camp for football.

I notice April missing. I look around the room to try and find her but I don't see her. Emily is sitting next to Trevor seeing as they are in a relationship and Courtney is having a conversation with a group of girls in the kitchen. "Em, what happened to April?" She looks lost in her words for a moment. "I'm sure she went upstairs with Nathan."

My smile fades and I sit up straight. "What?" She takes a sip of her beer and points upstairs. "I saw her chatting with Nathan earlier and they went upstairs." I want to get up but Aaron keeps me seated. "Leave them." I turn to him. "You're not serious. He's using my best friend."  He nods but he doesn't let me go. "I know and you've already told her his using her so if she doesn't listen to you then it's her problem."

I want to protest but he just turns a blind eye. I look at the stairs but decided to listen to Aaron. I cuddle back into his side as the night of stories and jokes continues on. Later on I start to leave a trail of small kisses along his jawline. I feel him tense up and I smile to myself. I turn so that I'm not straddling his lap, take his face between my hands and kiss him.

His hands travel down my back and cups my ass as he gives them a light squeeze. I lightly bite on his bottom lip making him moan. "Let's get a room." I get off his lap as he stands and grabs my hand.

Dinner was amazing. We spent the whole time just being us. Jokes and conversation without the world around us. As we pull up to the house I notice Nate's truck isn't back yet which means the party is still going on. We just sit there for a moment before I turn to him. I lean over and kiss him. "Thank you, thank you for being you."

He smiles and slides his hand around the back of my neck, tangled into my hair. The one kiss quickly escalates to a make out session. I climb over onto his lap as he moves his seat back. I guide his hands that were resting on my back down to my thighs. "Don't tease me, babe." He snickers and deepens the kiss. His fingers slip into my panties and I cannot help but moan.

Knock, knock, knock. My heart nearly stopped. Cal is knocking on the truck window. Aaron rolls down his window. "Dad, what the fuck?" He smiles at us. "How was your date?" I make sure I'm covered. Pulling my dress down a bit to make sure I don't show unnecessary skin. "Great and now ruined thanks for that, Dad."

I smile and watch as he looked at us. "You guys can still pick up where you left off." He gives us a wink but I slip from Aaron's lap back into my seat. Open the door and get out. "I need to go back to my place tonight. I have some work and stuff that I need to sort out." Aaron grabs my hand. "I'm sorry for my dad." I smile and shake my head. "It's fine. I'll  see you tomorrow." I lean up and give him a kiss. "Thank you for tonight. I love you."
