I wake up in the morning, finding myself on the couch with a blanket over my body, it wasn't there before I went to sleep. I see that it's 9AM and Albert is sitting at the table, eating lucky charms and watching anime on his phone. I go to my room and get dressed into some jeans and a grey shirt. I grab some toast and head out. "Bye!" I shout.
"Bye." he says.

I look at the notes app on my phone :

I see that none of the list has been ticked off

I see that none of the list has been ticked off. I have been sent by my work to see what America is like in comparison to UK and England.

I head up to the roof of the apartment block, watching the clear blue skies. I take in the scenery below me. Kids on bikes, Dogs barking at each other, graffiti on the walls of buildings and office blocks. Nothing is too different. I look closer. Kids on bikes, Dogs Barking, Graffiti, Office blocks, Shops, Trees. No... there must be something i'm missing. I look for a third time with a different mindset, Kids on their bikes - laughing with their friends , Shops galore , Palm Trees carefully placed row by row, Graffiti - carefully mastered and painted to spell out "Florida" In neat bubble writing, Office blocks with people working. There isn't really a difference at all...

I close my phone and lay on my back staring at the clouds. I close my eyes and hear footsteps approach. "What are you doing, Liv?" A voice calls. It's Albert.
"Oh uh- I don't actually know.." I giggle.
He sits down next to me looking at the views.
"So uh- what work are you here for then?" He asks.
"I have to research American, the people, the society yet i can't see any difference to what it is back home."
"Hm. Well you just haven't looked hard enough," He gets up, "Come on then! I'm going to show you what the difference is! We're going to the city centre."
I get up and follow him. "Ok!"
