I'm walking to meet my best friend venus. I've just came back from a trip to the uk I was there for 5 year it was meant to be less but covid ruined it and it's the first time we can meet after I've come back. I am listening to my music as I walk and she by doodie comes on and I giggle a little because that's how I feel seeing her. Dollya. She has the prettiest eyes and is really sweet and today we finally get to meet it's why V wanted me to come to theirs. I knock on the door and hear the cats meowing but no one comes to the door

Venus🧷: 5 mins away are you there early
Y/n🏳️🌈: you know me
Venus🧷: well wait we went to get baking supplies and snacks as waka said we didnt have enough
Y/n🏳️🌈: so what am I meant to do
Venus🧷: wait
So I'm sat in the front door step looking like a lost child. Luckily soon wakas car pulls up and they all get out

Venus: yep
I run and hug her. I wave at the other two behind her.

Dollya: yep after so much time on facetime and over calls
Y/n: yes
Dollya comes and hugs me. We all walk in.
Dollya: let's bake

We get all the ingredients and we weight the sugar and when I try to put the flour into the bowl and it goes all over both me and dollya.
Y/n:sorry
Dollya: it's ok I normally get covered in flour cooking
Waka: you two getting close over there
Dollya: shut up
We continue to bake and when we get the batter done and dollya decides to put some on my nose

Venus: you two having fun

I get a text from venus

Venus gives me a knowing look and I ignore her. As we put the cake in the oven.
Waka: so what do we whatch
Y/n: prom
Venus: cats
Dollya: please not a musical
Venus and y/n: please a musical
Waka: two against one so a musical
Venus: I wanna whatch cats
Dollya: I've seen it once
Y/n: I just hate the musical as a whole
Venus: how dare you
Y/n: its boring and the only good bit is the costumes so it's not good also the proms really gay
Waka: so prom dollya you ok with it

Venus: fine
Me and dollya sit on one couch and venus and waka are on the other one. I'm sitting uncomfortably and dollya pulls me close

Y/n: you sure
Dollya: of course
We sit there and cuddle. I see waka and venus giggling. I roll my eyes and just cuddle in further. As the song unruly heart come on I start to cry as a queer person I really relate to it and it just makes me really emotional

Y/n: I know I've seen the movie I'm just emotional
Dollya: you sure
Y/n: yep
She wipes away the tears and we just sit there and as the movie end we remember the cake and run to the oven. Turns out when venus left at the start she took it out and we both breathe a sight of relief.
Y/n: I'm not the only one who thought we would have a burnt cake
Dollya: nope I also forgot
Waka: so the movie
Venus: you two were awfully close like you had something happening
Dollya: nothing is happening between us
Y/n: yep just friends being friendly
Waka: just kiss please the tension between the two of you is giving everyone a headache
Venus: I said let's suttely suggest they should get together not just yell it
Y/n: so I was right

Y/n: I knew this whole day was just gonna be you two just trying to set us two up

Dollya: you two are really loud when talking about secrets
Y/n: especially when the two people your talking about are on the phone in the next room leaving said room to get a drink
Dollya: I was thirsty
Waka: so has all cutesy things just been to annoy us

Venus: so there is something between you two
Dollya: we just getting to know each other it's the first time meeting in public
Y/n: but maybe something could happen
Waka: so are set up date is a no
Dollya: you set up a date
Venus: yes we did it was meant to be tonight as we both have a show together
Y/n: so what is the date
Waka: a cute dinner like I cooked it as no one else here can cook
Y/n: that a good thing I'm here now
Venus: yes y/n's cooking is so good
Dollya: maybe I should try it sometime
Y/n: you definitely can some day not today as waka made us food so we can have a date
Venus: and kiss
Dollya: your pushing it
Venus and waka leave so me and dollya are alone

Y/n: yep the two of them were very pushy
Dollya: sorry about my friends
Y/n: venus is my friend too remember I've had to deal with her since I was 5 it's been hard
Dollya giggles and omg that's so much better in person then on call. I just stare at her and zone out I feel myself being drawn to her lips.
Dollya: y/n you ok you zoned out am I really that pretty
Y/n: shut up sorry I study new peoples faces
Dollya: so do you like my face. That came out wrong and sounded so wierd I'm sorry
Y/n: I like your face very much its really pretty. That also came out wierd
Dollya: I guess we are both kinda weird
Y/n: yep and I like that

We start to eat and omg this food is so good we just sit there the cats circling our feet and a little candle in the middle its quiet romantic actually.
Dollya: this date isn't so bad
Y/n: why did you think it would be
Dollya: omg no I'm just saying knowing the two of them there would be an engagement ring in the food
Y/n: oh yeah that would be awkward
We finish our food and go into the living room. We just sit there and cuddle.
Y/n: ik we said that we wouldn't kiss to them but could we maybe try
Dollya: of course
We kiss and it is the most magical thing in the whole world and I'm finally happy
