The warm summer breeze brushing against our faces, and Marcus attempting to hold the camera steady as he stands up right at the back of the jeep. He may not look much, tall, clean shaven, and always having that camera over his face. Honestly, I don't think none of us has ever seen his face. The music disturbing the quiet country side as we laugh it up in how we convinced our instructors that we are with Marcus on this expedition. Frankly, I just wanted to get in Sally's pants when we get to the camping area. It wasn't long for Sally to run her skirt over my head; blocking my line of sight of the road. All in good fun as she sits back down thinking it was just harmless pranking on a empty road. Marcus continues to film with no expression whatsoever as I look through my rear view mirror. The music being switched over to random stations between the static I could hear Leon's hand held game. Leon has always been a gamer, well that was his field. Chubby, not a care in the world what is going outside his head. He had been with Marcus since day one with the project, he was always the type to convince anyone to say yes. Well with this experience he hopes to find a good plot for a video game. As for me and Sally, It's an excuse to get away from prying eyes. Us two come from two different families, Rich and poor. My Father believes that anyone interested in me is interested in money. Frankly I would rather just let him talk his mouth off and take off in my Jeep. Sally was the only girl in high school (before I attended Private school) to actually see me more than just an easy access to a free meal. Her strawberry blonde hair may look like she's a million dollars with an ass to match but, the only thing she ever asked for in our 4 years of being together was a simple bottle of nail polish.
Leon in the other hand, has been schmoozing with my father convincing him to do business with his project. He sure got enough to fool my father into getting me this Jeep, and has bailed me plenty of times telling my dad that I was with him when the moment arrived when he felt like nosing into my business with Sally. Like I said, he too doesn't ask for much, just my friendship. He is talker though. He can probably convince us to have a three way with Sally and I and we wouldn't know what he has said to convince us after. I am just glad he is on my side.
Sally growing up in a crime infested neighborhood, with her father in prison for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge. Sally grew up with her grandfather which later passed away only to be pushed back into that crime filled urban wasteland with her mother. She has devoted herself to become something more than just a waitress at some restaurant serving wings to ogling perverts that only tip her if she gave them more than just a smile and a look at her large rack.
I really don't know much about Marcus, only that Leon knows him through middle school when he was caught video taping a scandal between his own mother and the principal. The principal was more than generous to Marcus when he promised to pay for his first four years of college if he kept the secret between just him and the wall. His mom later divorced his dad and married the old man. As promised before he died at a local whore house his will stated that he would get his four years of college paid off damning all expenses and whatever is left will go to the family. Marcus was rumored he only used a tenth of his inheritance to buy a new video camera and a hair cut. All of which he got it at a good price on C-List. I guess not all of us are spoiled brats when it came to free money (if there was such a damn thing).
Sally just being Sally throws herself on top of Leon and begins to grind against him, making him lose focus on his game. His scream broke my concentration, as my head turns towards them. Sally rubbing her chest against his face, and I begin to laugh at the sight of them two struggling for one to stay on and the other to push off. Marcus in his calm voice says to me that to look where I am going. And when I heeded his advice i turn to see a black figure casting a long shadow over our Jeep. The cold feeling rushed through my veins and a sudden thud hitting the hood and over our heads.
Marcus being the first to see what I hit behind us, gave a startling discovery. Pulling my car over to the side; Marcus begins to run up to the dark figure. Its arms still flailing as it remained motionless, an oozing liquid pouring over the tarred pavement. Marcus moving his camera a little closer to the object as it appeared that it had tentacles maybe six or eight sprouting from it's back.
"What is that thing?" I shouted to Marcus. Marcus still filming and yet still moving around it kicking its white head.
"It's a deer," he replied finally, "It must have gotten into someone's yard and took someone's clothes by accident.
The deer had stolen three pairs of slacks, boxers, and a black shirt. Making it appear to be human but only tried to remove the articles of clothing by running through the woods and onto the road only to be struck by us.
"Is it dead?" Sally asked, as she hops off Leon and Leon getting back on his seat playing with his video game.
"Yep, its dead all right. What should we do?"
"Nothing, else we can do,"
Marcus returning to the Jeep, with the camera still attached to his face. We head off again towards the camping sight. Silence for the rest of the way now knowing what we have learned on this trip when it comes to fooling around in a vehicle. This time it was a deer, next time we might not be so lucky.
