Hello, the name's Icebace67 and welcome to RWBY: Legends. This is my first story here on Wattpad. I hope all of you who read this story enjoy. Any constructive criticism is appreciated so as to help me better my writing.

The camera pans to a view of a hooded figure walking down a street in the dead of night. No sound or light, except for the figures foot steps and the light from the cracked moon guiding his path. The quietness ended when the scene changes to that of a young boy and older girl with one would assume to be their parents in a small cabin in the woods with the ground covered in a layer of snow. The boy and girl had a matching set of wolf ears, the boy had snow white hair and silver eyes full of innocence. The girl having long, beautiful black hair and crimson red eyes. The mother had black hair like her daughter's and silver eyes like her son, while the father had white hair like his son and eyes of crimson like his daughter, both of the parents having wolf ears as well, all of them were smiling and laughing as a loving family.

The scene changed once again, still in the cabin but there was fire everywhere, with the older girl holding her brother in her arms tightly while their parents were trying to hold off the swarm of black animals, with armor of bone, and eyes burning with hatred. They were holding these creatures of destruction off well enough, that is until one resembling a scorpion pierced through the woman's chest from behind. She let out a gasp in pain as the man turning to her with his face full off shock, then to unbridled anger as he let out a battle cry as he decapitated the bear creature he had been fighting and rushed to his wife's side not caring about the creatures now swarming him.

He held her in his arms as she was gasping for breaths. He started to cry as he looked up from his dying wife and looked to his kids, the girl wide eyed in shock and the boy crying his eyes out into her shoulder. He thought for a moment, and in an act of desperation tried the first idea that came to him. He closed his eyes, a light shimmered around his body, brightly, but weak. And called out a single name in desperation.

"RAVEN!"

Soon after, a red distortion formed in front of the man, like a portal, and soon stepped out a woman in what looked like red samurai armor, a red bladed katana in hand, and a mask reminiscent of that of the creatures attacking. She never said a word as she looked around at the destruction and the enemies around. Then towards the man and the woman in her arms, no one could see her reaction, but behind her mask worry and sadness was written on her face. She knew neither of them would make it, much to her dismay.

The woman was dying and though the man was still up and kicking, that trick depleted the rest of his energy and his wounds were taking a toll on his body as he was now barely keeping himself from falling from his kneeling position. So she did the most reasonable thing... she disappeared in an instant, then reappeared, sheathing her blade as the heads and in some cases, the limbs, from the remaining enemies were detached from their bodies.

She then walked towards the man and the woman, kneeling in front of them checking their wounds to be sure her hunch was correct. Once she was sure she slowly shook her head as a couple of tears could be seen falling from behind her masked face and hitting the snow covered ground. The injured man and woman looked at each other and softly smiled at the woman who saved them, though they grimaced in pain not long after.

The two children where stuck in place in awe at the what they just witness as they saw their parents say something to the woman, though they couldn't hear what was said but they did see the woman give a barely noticeable nod of confirmation and then the children's parents smiling and then slowly going limp. The woman in red closed the eyes of the two and slowly stood up, turning her head towards the children and the camera as the screen goes to black.
