((A/N): So a quick google search told me that metro man's name is Wayne Scott, That's what I'm going to use)

Y/N'S POV

I need to stop lashing out at people.

"That's not how I meant it at all," He put his hands up in a defensive manner.

"Sorry," I looked away embarrassed. We were standing very close to each other. He smelled nice. I think that's a good trait for a man to have. Hygiene.

However, it's also the bare minimum, sadly. I think I might hate men. For starters, they will say vile shit on a dime, and it's all bigotry. I also think the only man I don't hate is Metro-Man. He's dead so it doesn't count. I'm hoping that Bernard is one of the good ones.

But back to how I hate men. I do not think it is unfair for me to think this, or feel this way. Men hate women too. In a patriarchal society where women are still thought of--by men--as objects to use for male gratification, I think I'm justified.

"What's the definition of feminism to you?" I asked him.

"Um-" Bernard chuckled.

"I'm serious, what do you think it is?"

"Feminist fight for everyone's rights- I suppose."

"Sure yeah, That's obvious, I'm asking you in a roundabout way if you think that I am a human being who deserves rights,"

"Yeah everyone does,"

"Good answer," I said with a serious tone, which was shortly followed by a short laugh.

"It was nice talking to you," Bernard said, "I have to go to work, but I want to see you later." That caught me off guard, Why? He smiled at me, the same smile I had offered him yesterday. God, he was attractive. His light brown eyes were softer than they were yesterday. It's way more fitting for him.

"Alright, yeah, I guess I'll see you around," I said and smiled.

Right, therapy time. I had an appointment that I needed to get to. I started in the direction of my therapist's office. I went to therapy before he died, but now I had to go more often, I felt worse, It was worse. Wayne had been my best friend since childhood. I didn't always agree with how he treated Megamind when we were kids, but at times he was a sweet boy. In hindsight, Wayne's constant bullying of Megamind is what probably made him turn out the way he did. Megamind was generally a sweet kid. Lots of things went wrong and he got the short end of the stick. I wonder if Megamind would remember me. I was always a shy and quiet kid. I was also behind Wayne and the only time I stood up against Wayne was when his teasing was too much for Megamind. I wish I did more, and not just stood there. I reached my therapist's office and went inside. The office waiting room was a pastel blue.

It was an extremely pretty color. The paintings that hung on the walls were vast meadows of luscious flowers and a few serene paintings of animals. The environment in this room was tranquil, to say the least. On the light fixtures, a skylight with a few clouds of film clung over them, so it looked like you were staring at the blue sky. The little radio played instrumentals of the latest pop songs. There were a few couches and chairs set up in the waiting room, they were quaint. In the corner, there were a few self-help books along with a few children's novels and toys. I signed in and waited in the corner for my appointment. There was this little girl who was always there. She was 10, maybe. She was a kind little girl, and I always read to her while she and I were waiting. And as usual, she was waiting on our normal couch in the corner with a small fairytale book. A real Cheshire cat smile reached from ear to ear on her face. Her Honey hair framed her face. She had pretty light brown eyes, much like Bernard's.

"HI (Y/N)!" She enthused.

"Lacey, Hey, how are you," I smiled at her. Reading to Lacey had become a therapist's office ritual of ours. My experience would be complete without it, "We were on Chapter 2, page 4 right?" She nodded. The book she had picked out was the magic treehouse book, The night of dawn.

I read to her for a while. Then my name was called.

I went to the back room where my Therapist, Lela Brandy, sat at her desk.

"Ms. (L/N)," She Greeted, "How are you?"

"Well, the same I guess," I answered. I sat down in the plushy chair across from Brandy. She was an older woman late forties, but she looked young for her age. She was very sweet and patient. She was very good at what she did, and she was passionate.
