I think it was close to midnight but I didn't care. I was lying in the sand near the water just waiting for someone or something to show up and make the boring night a little less boring. I was playing with a plant growing in the sand just looking at the stars and the horizon. The lighthouse was on and threw cones of light over the sea and suddenly I saw a boat in the horizon. I couldn't see how many people where in it. I stood up to get a better look. It was too dark to see anything. I saw one of them throw their arms into the air and yelling something I didn't understand. The light hit the boat as it came closer. I could now see at least two persons. I wondered if they already was past the monster in the sea. Suddenly a big thing shot up from the water eating one of them. I've never seen the monster before and it scared the hell out of me to see it. It was horrifying. The light hit the boat once again and another of them fell into the water. I guess they must have been four cause there was still two persons in the boat. One of them took the oar and started to row. Faster than they did before. They came closer every second and I felt a weird feeling in my stomach. The light hit the boat and I could identify the persons as two men. The light hit the boat once again and I looked around to see if I could find anything to signal with. But there was only broken boats all over the beach and plants to signal with. I decided to hide and quickly ran behind one of the boats. What if they wanted to hurt us, and we have drawn them to us with that stupid lighthouse. I peaked up from my hiding spot to see the two men standing on the shore pulling the boat out of the water. I fell backwards and hit a boat. But unfortunately the boat fell forward and hit my head. Hard.

I woke up with a horrible headache. The sun casted it's rays of light down over me. The sun hit my face and it made me squeeze my eyes together. I pushed the boat away and lifted my body up onto my elbows. I stumbled onto my feet and it took me about a minute to get my balance fixed. Suddenly everything from last night overthrew me. What would these men do? Were they from here? Where did they come from? A lot of questions circled around in my head and I knew that I was the only one that saw them last night and that scared me. I dusted of the sand and felt my head to se if I had bled. I found where the boat had hit me. And I quickly retracted my fingers and winced in pain. I was used to wounds and blue marks but this felt different. My eyes found where I've once lived. Something was different. The door was open. One of them was in there. I had to go in there. I was terrified but there was no time for that. I made my way through all the boats on the shore and soon reached the open door. I went in. My eyes felt onto to the big screen where my dad was on. Someone watched his suicide video and it looked like it just ended. Without thinking I gasped and quickly covered my mouth regretting it badly. I prayed that he didn't hear me but I guess today wasn't my lucky day, because seconds later the chair turned around and I quickly fell to my knees." Please don't kill me" I begged not wanting my life to be over." Wow! You scared me." He said chuckling slightly making my flinch in fear." Are you okay?" He asked squatting down next to me. I closed my eyes begging that he wouldn't kill me." Hey, can you even talk?" He asked being a little to sassy for a guy. For anyone for that matter." Yes" I said short." Then answer me. Are you okay?" He asked again." I'm fine." I said standing up as well as him. I looked up and was met by a pair of curios green eyes. The guy the eyes belonged to was rather tall and dark haired. He wasn't buff but he wasn't skinny either." What's your name?" He asked looking at me with curiosity." Ashley" I said making him smile. He stressed he stretched out his arm and I quickly took a few steps back. As I did he quickly retracted his arm. I then regretted it. My dad always told me to never step away from a man who wanted to touch me. If I did he had the right to hit me as much as he wanted for disobeying his orders. I quickly stepped forward again and straightened my back trying to look presentable. My clothes didn't make it better." Wow! Relax, I'm not gonna hurt you." He said trying once again. This time I didn't move I just closed my eyes." Promise" he said. When his warm finger touched my cold skin, I felt weird. Soon all of his right hand rested on my left shoulder. Seconds later his left hand was on my right shoulder and before I knew it he pulled me in and threw his arms around me. My eyes widened and my jaw dropped. He let me go and backed away." See I'm not dangerous" he said making me smile.
