After Grinikla had screamed possibly my sanity out of me, she finally stopped with a big dramatic huff.
"So your telln' me, she was cursed to be a cat...and if she touches someone they turn into a mockingbird," Grinikla said "and you want me to get rid of the mockingbird part of the curse?"
"Yes! So can you do it?" Kirala asked.
"Of course deary! I could have done it over the phone it's extremely simple!" She said getting up from her chair and cracking her knuckles.
"maledictum eo in parte carere" she screamed a aquamarine stream flowing from her fingers. It started to swirl around me and go upwards. Then it just stopped.
"That should do it... Let's test it out" Grinikla said. "grab that squirrel and drop it on top of her if it turns into a bird I didn't do it right and it might be even worse of a curse."
Kirala grabbed a squirrel and thrower it at me. The squirrel tried to change its direction in the air and failed hitting me in the face. It sat on my nose for a couple of seconds before my cat instincts kicked in. My eyes zoned in on the squirrel, everything turning red. The squirrel jumped off my nose and race towards the house. I bounded after it, my paws kicking up sand as I ran.
"FIONA!! NO!" Kirala screamed and snatched me up using gloves.
"Well it didn't turn into another animal so I think it's safe to touch her," Grinikla shrugged. " I'll see if it's ok. I can just use another spell to change back if needed."
She creeped over towards me being held by Kirala and booped my nose. I blinked and twitched my nose trying to get her smell off of it.
"See? Perfectly fine now take off those gloves like she's radioactive" Grinikla said scratching my head.
I purred as she kept scratching then I heard a noise. I stopped purring and stared in the direction of the sound. The wind picked up and the smell of the thing that made the sound floated over to my nose. It smelled like death and rotten pineapples. I hissed at the area the sound came from, and jumped out of Kirala's arms, moving to her shoulders. She looked over in the direction I was hissing at and a shadowy figure came up.
"WHAT THE HECK IS THAT GRINIKLA?!!??!!" She screamed putting a hand out and charging up an attack spell.
Grinikla turned around ,making a gasping sound( well more of a dying whale sound) and charged up an attack spell as well. The figure came out into the light and we could see it's face. Kirala screamed as she realized what it was.
