Kirala jumped back and fired her attack spell. The shadowy figure came charging toward her. I jumped at the shadow and went straight through it. It growled at me and turned into a cat, it's shadowy form still a bit visible. I jumped at it again but my claws couldn't find a place to scratch at. Sliding on the ground, I turned around(hey that rhymed) and attacked the shadow again. This time the cat just raised a paw and swatted me towards a tree.
Kirala prepared more attack spells and her grandmother was in her house furiously looking for something. She fired a green looking ball and it formed a hole in the shadowy cat. She started to make a grin and fired more. The cat just yowled and the holes filled back in, making Kirala's smile drop.
Kirala started getting angry and fired off a dark purple spell that hit the shadowy figure. It morphed back into its more human-ness form and hissed at her. Ma mua Grinkila came out with 5 different colored potions. I saw her about to fall back and ran over to try to catch her. She nodded and threw a pink potion that made the figure dissolve. It hissed and made a shadow ball towards her. Ma mua Grinkila dodged it swiftly while throwing the yellow one. The potion fell short and made a huge cloud of yellow, capturing the shadow figure into its odd shaped container.
"It's just a magic balancer," Ma mua Grinkila said stretching her back. " I don't think I can do much more fighting sweet heart... those days are over."
"So...what do we do now?" Asked Kirala
"Well just find the witch and ask her nicely to remove the curse, or go to the magic counsel about it." Grinkila replied. "I'm surprised they are even alive."
"Ok let's go Fiona," Kirala said "WE'RE GONNA BREAK THIS CURSE!!"
The screaming voice made me jump and run under the porch steps. Ok, that was too loud for even a regular human to shout. I rubbed my ears while hiding under the steps. I CANT GET THE RINGING OUT OF MY EARS!!
