"You should go," her dad says while they sat on the couch, "are you sure?" Avery asked him, "your godfather rarely asks for help and I know you are curious about your birth father," he told her while she looks down. Avery always wondered about her birth father, she was angry at him but she never stopped to think about what happens if they meet. Her godfather Peter had kept her a secret, he never told her birth father which she knew he did to keep her safe from his enemies and the Volturi.
She moved and started packing, "I need to let Allison's dad know I will be nearby," she told her dad, "I will let her know, I got you a flight that leaves soon," he says while she hugs him. "Thanks dad," Avery says, "you will always be my dad," she told him knowing how hard it was for him and his fears, "Get packed," he says while she went back to packing while texting her godfather. Looking at the text, Avery saw they were meeting in Seattle as he wanted to explain the situation.
She has a bad feeling about this, Avery feels something is going to happen and she is afraid that would drag her pack. She wanted to protect them, we have been through a lot and she promised herself that she would protect the pack. Her dad is worried she could tell, "you ready?" her dad asked, "yeah," she says as she grabbed her bag and followed him outside to his car.
