Opening her eyes as she saw him above her bed, Avery could hear people downstairs as she knew that they do not know he is up here. Feeling his finger touching her cheek, "I felt your pain...you don't have to worry about that Alpha, I made sure he suffered for harming what is mine," the nogitsune spoke, "you should go," Avery says hearing the footsteps coming up the stairs, "I will be watching," he spoke before watching him disappear.
Sitting up as she saw Chris enter the room, "your awake," he says while she could feel the bandage around her stomach, "yeah, I should have been careful," Avery told him. "The Alpha is dead, the hunters found his body and he looked like he was tortured," he says looking at her. Avery looked at him as he sighs knowing the answer, "Renesmee is okay, you just need to rest as you heal slowly remember that," he told her while she nods watching him leave.
