After talking with Nahuel, Avery saw her birth father with his mate talking with Peter and Charlotte. Peter was going to tell them about her, she was afraid to tell him and since Peter was there since she was younger. She decided to take a walk as she heard her father shout "What!" but Avery ran off needing to get away. Feeling an arm wrap around her as she closes her eyes, "you don't need to return," she heard Damian speak. "I want him to know, but I don't know if I am ready to get to know him," Avery whispered. Feeling him pick her up bridal style, "well time for a little kidnapping darling," he says as we disappear from the forest and appear in a building.

He let her down as she noticed it was a house, "you can stay here to hide, just make sure to let someone know you are safe," he told her. 'I am safe...I needed to get away,' she sent the text to her godfather, Avery walked around the home as Damian had let her roam around. "Thank you," Avery says finding him in the kitchen, "I was a bit insane back when I possessed Stiles, being trapped alone for centuries was not a good thing. I think you helped a bit," he says, "I can stay here?" she asks. "Yeah," he says while Avery looks at her phone, 'I am not returning back to Forks, I am sorry,' she sent the text to her godfather.

'I need time away from everything, I will return but I am going to travel and learn,' she texted her dad, 'be safe,' he texts back. 'Tell the pack please,' she texts him while she sighs, "you didn't tell them about me," he says, "they will worry and they know I can protect myself," Avery told him, "of course," he says while Avery made her decision to step away from everything and take some much needed vacation.
