Monday's are worst. I mean come on now, who doesn't hate Monday's?

The weekend was really nice. Mom and I had a great time at the spa. I got these gorgeous black square acrylics and matching nail polish on my toes. Mom got her usual French mani.

Anyways, I wake up at 5:30 every morning. This Monday wasn't the case. I woke up really late, 6:20. My bus usually comes around 6:38 or so but instead of taking the musty, ghetto, dirty school bus, I get dropped off.

I put on my black ripped skinny jeans and a nirvana t-shirt. My makeup was simple today. Only mascara, eyeliner, and some BB cream.

I don't really worry about my appearance anymore because it's not like I have anyone to look good for anymore.

I get to school around 6:50. Thankfully, I had enough time to go to Dunkin Donuts and get an iced coffee. If you know me, I can't go a day without having my coffee, especially since I have all of the boring academic classes first on my schedule.

I text Kenny and Alice.
Me: Hey kiddos, you @ prison yet?
Kenny: yup, meet in the cafeteria
Alice: um I'm not there yet, running late, wait for me!!
Me: k Alice..Kenny, meet in the snack line.

I walk into the school but nobody is there. And when I say nobody, I mean literally no one. The cafeteria is empty. I look up to the diamond shaped window on the top of the cafeteria, it's pitch black outside.

Before I know it, the power turns off.

I look down to the ground and see little red pebbles, glowing. They are leading me to the auditorium.

I start walking and hit the door to the theater. I open the doors and look up at the stage. On it there are really bright red eyes.

I have to admit, those eyes scared the complete shit out of me. I'm not the type to get scared easily but those eyes, I don't know, there is just something so evil about them.

I yell, "Why did you lead me here? What's going on? Where is everybody!?". The creature doesn't respond. It's standing there on the stage. In the blink of an eye, I'm back at school. Kenny is in front of me, looking at me like she's just seen a ghost.

I ask, "What's wrong...? Why are you looking at me like that?"

She grabs my arm and pulls me into the nearest bathroom that's empty.

"Sav, you need to look in the mirror, NOW."

I glance at my reflection in the mirror in front of me. I can't understand what's going on but the sclera in my eye is completely red. My iris's are pitch black. I guess the word demon can describe my eyes an completion at the moment. My skin is a dirty red color. My hair, jet black. I look at Kenny.

"This isn't actually happening right?", suddenly I turn into what seems like a monster and scream, "WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON!?"

Kenny looks at me, a blank stare, but it's evil. Her eyes are completely black. The lights in the bathroom start to flicker and I hear one of the light bulbs pop.

"Kenny? What is going on?"

She laughs an evil laugh and suddenly her voice changes tones, it's deep. "This isn't Kenny, and everything isn't what it seems."

I scream, I start screaming and crying. Before I know it, I wake up. AGAIN. But this time I'm in my room. Staring up at the ceiling which has glow in the dark star and cloud stickers.

I hear my mom say, "Sav! Can you come in the kitchen please?"

I hop out of bed, totally ignoring fact that I'm in my underwear and a sports bra. I walk into the kitchen and see my mom making oatmeal.

"Hey honey, are you okay? I heard you screaming in your sleep. Did something happen?"
"Oh yeah, just a weird nightmare. Nothing serious. Thanks for asking though!"
"Yeah no problem, but you know you can tell me anything and everything right? You won't have the privilege to talk to me anymore in a couple weeks..so if you need to talk babe, I'm here!"
"Mom, I know. And I'd appreciate it if you'd stop stating the fact that you won't be here in a couple weeks. I'm still praying you'll get better." It bothered me so much that she kept mentioning the fact that she won't be here for much longer, I'm still hoping and praying that a miracle comes her way.

"Anyways Mom, I'm gonna go get ready for school."
"Alright honey."
