Chapter 17

Akira pov (Next day)
I close my eyes as I enjoy the slight breeze threw my hair. Sitting in the middle of the training field, my hand twitches when I feel that bastards chakra getting closer.

I chuckle quietly to myself when I feel some of his pets trailing behind him. Of course he wouldn't come alone, "I received your message what is it you want?"

"Well first of all I'm surprised you came, we don't have the best relationship. Anyways when I made contact with the Akatsuki I ran into Itachi. We had a very interesting conversation about the Uchiha massacre. What I found out cleared everything up for me. Especially with Shisui's chakra coming from your right eye." After those words leave my mouth his root anbu come out of the shadows.

But before they reach me all five root anbu members lay on the ground decapitated. Akrame and Chiho stand on the either side of him.

I stand up dusting off my pants, "Danzo, Danzo, Danzo you should know I'm smart enough not to come alone." He pulls his right arm out of his sling and unlockes the seal. Once the seal falls to the ground the bandages.

Anger bubbles in me as soon as he reveals all the sharingan in his arm. He pulls the bandages around Shisui's eyes off his head. He glares at me, "You can't attack me I'm an elder of the village. Attack me and there will be consequences."

Chiho snickers, "See that's where your wrong, "Akrame wanna drop the genjutsu, so our friend here can see how fucked he is now."

Akrame holds up the ram sign, "Release." The scenery around us changes and surrounding us all where at least 50 anbu black ops. In front of them was standing Granny Tsunade, Pervy Sage. And I wanted to laugh at Homaru and Koharu's faces. This is what they get for following this bastard so blindly.

"Danzo Shimaru for you actions against the village and the uchiha clan. I hear by sentence you to death, until I decide when to carry it out you will be held in prison. Now come quietly before I let Akira kill you where you stand."

I push chakra to my eyes and shift into my taijutsu stance. Akrame and Chiho following my lead, "Please attack so I can kill you painfully." Akrame begs bouncing in places slightly, but much to my displeasure. Danzo puts his hands out in front of him, "This is a mistake Lady Tsunade, everything I've ever done is what's best for the leaf."

"What you did was for your own gain Danzo, Akira place a seal on him so he can't use chakra or those sharingan." I approach him slowly and once I reach him, I weave hand signs quickly.

Hitting him hard in the chest black lines appear all over his body. He groans slightly as his charka coils are closed off. I step back glaring at him, "He's harmless now granny, if he tries something I'll put him down."

Granny orders owl and bird to take Danzo to prison, "I'll go with them so I can put seals around his cell. I don't want there being anyway he can try to escape."

Pervy sgae follows them, Homaru and Koharu scurry off. Granny Tsunade walks over to me and gently squeezes my shoulder. I relax slightly deactivating my eyes, "I was hoping he would put up a fight so I could kill him."

She laughs slightly, "You and me both, I'll make sure to have guards on him. I want you to go find Itachi and bring him home to the village. I'll take care of everything needed to clear that poor boys name."

I nod swallowing slightly, "Hai just leave Sasuke to me I need to tell him." Her eyes soften as she nods, "You two go with her and make sure to watch each others backs."

"You know we always do Granny." Akrame says with a small smile as they move on either side of me.

"Go you three I'll be waiting for your return." We nod and take off into the trees, "Chiho have you pinpointed Itachi's location?"

"Hai but his with Kisame."

"He'll be no problem we'll just put him in a powerful genjutsu." I only hum in response, "Alright what's wrong?" I chew my bottom lip, "When Granny breaks the news to the jonin and chunin about Itachi's innocents. Will they except it willingly or will they try something against him."

Chiho voice softens, "It won't be easy and there still will be some resentment against him. But he'll have us by his side and when you both speak to Sasuke, Itachi will have his Ototo."

"Plus we'll just  kick there ass if they try to touch a hair on the little weasel." I can't help but smile at Akrame words, just wait itachi your coming home.

Kakashi pov
Lady Tsunade called for all the jonin and high ranking Chunin of the village to the hokage building.

I haven't seen Akira since yesterday so I can only assume that this is going to be about Itachi. I stood next to Asuma and Guy with Anko and Kurenai standing in front of us.

"Man I wonder what's this is about I mean its unusual that all if us get called to the Hokage building." Anko eyes me, "Akira didn't tell you anything?" I shrug lazily, "No, she's not allowed to discuss what goes on for security reasons."

Before they can ask me more questions Lady Tsunade takes the stage with Master Jiraiya by her side. She clears her throat, "I'm sure you are all curious as to say I've gathered you all here. Earlier this morning elder and council member Danzo Shimaru was arrested for acts against the village. And using the loyalty of one of a fellow shinobi against him. I herby declare that Itachi Uchiha is innocent of all charges and accusations!"

Almost immediately voices of protection and confusion sound out amoung the crowd.

"SILENCE!" Master Jiraiya's voice rings threw the room with power. Everything grows silent, "There is enough evidence in favor of Itachi's innocence. And I've already made the decision and have a squad who will bring him home. If any of you have a problem with it you can come talk to me personally. Your all dismissed!"

I teleport to my house and sit on my couch, I have no doubt that the squad sent after Itachi is Akira, Akrame and Chiho.

I pull down my mask and sigh covering my face with my hands. I just hope you stay safe Akira and this mission doesn't get complicated.
