(Hermione)

She'd never seen so many ancient books in one place.

If Hermione'd hadn't relinquished access to her wand in favour of her entry, she hazard a guess that a stack of books at least thirteen tomes high would be trailing behind her - levitating as she moved from shelf to shelf.

She was marvelled by how trusting the Egyptian Ministry was of visitors to the library.

Yes, their wands had been taken away, but wandless magic was a things mastered by some advanced witches and wizards. Hermione herself knew a few charms she could perform wandlessley. She assumed there were additional wards placed on rooms, even individual books might be warded against such masterful displays of magic.

So far minimal amounts of workers had bothered them, they had passed by, giving a brief nod of their had or offered to show them rooms they might not have seen; but for the most part, she and Draco had been left on their own to explore the Wonder that was the Library of Alexandria.

Very great full for their lack of interruption, Hermione hadn't felt guilty about snogging hr wizard behind a pillar of one of the back walls. She'd intended to simply peck him before moving on to the next row of recorded diaries, but Draco had surprised her. He'd whipped her around and pressed her back into the marble pillar, hiked her leg up onto his hips and had refused to let her go until she had been thoroughly kissed; her lips swollen and her hair tussled.

Draco Malfoy had then walked around with a knowing smirk on his lips for the next hour, trailing behind her as she explored. She'd caught him staring at her arse more then once when she rounded corners or bend down to retrieve books on the bottom shelf to inspect. Hermione had kept her mouth shut, and simply let the wizard look his fill while she explored the Library blissfully.

So, she might have added an additional sway to her hips when she walked by in a effort to taunt him, he could wait until they got back to the villa.

"Hermione, come take a look over here" Draco called from the opposite side of the room.

Another interesting thing about the Library of Alexandria was that there were no rules on noise. Unlike a typical library, every once in a while you could year a worker hollar down the hallway at full volume. There was no silence rule thanks to magic; the rooms where workers where inscribing notes or reviewing artifacts were sealed and silenced from within, allowing for the rest of the library not needing to be.

It was a strange diversion from the Libraries Hermione was used to; at Hogwarts she'd grown accustomed to Madame Pince's shushing, and at her own place of employment she had grown used to being the one delving out reminders to be quite and to mind the noise.

Accepting Draco's call, Hermione rounded the corner, two books in hand that she wished to browse through at a table in a moment, and went looking for her lover on the other side of the wing.

Draco had left her side not longer that fifteen minutes before, claiming to want to find records of his ancestry. The Manor Vaults only carried so much information, and Draco had heard a rumour years ago that copies of Pureblood family records were kept at the Library of Alexandria; back then he'd naively assumed it to be a myth.

However, Hermione hadn't quite expected to see what she did. Instead of Draco carrying a large scroll - of what she would as assumed be a Family Tree- he stood empty handed in front of a secluded reading booth.
