"Good luck in your new home, Lili," I hear someone shout. I turn around to see Brooke standing there, with her tear stained cheek. As I wave goodbye to my family, a tear rolls down my cheek. I drive carefully down the long lane which we are sometimes met by tractors passing by. The lane is quiet at this time, because it is too early for the farmers to start work. I look at my phone to check the time. 5:15 am. The office to where I get my keys opens at 7:00 am, so I have plenty of time until I need to collect it. It takes around four hours to get from West Wales to Brighton. As soon as I get to the end of the lane, I turn left. I have my navigator on the dashboard, so hopefully I won't get lost.

I arrive at the service station, grab a mango and passion fruit cooler from Costa, and head to M&S to grab my lunch. I pay for it all and hear straight back to my car. I open my M&S pasta and place a fork in it so I could eat and drive, even though that is dangerous.
I drive off again, this time with food. My stomach is empty. Literally. I haven't had any breakfast at all, and this still isn't that much to fill me because, of course, I do like my food.
I take a sip of my Costa before leaving. It's the large one, so hopefully it won't run out. If it does, it won't be until I get to the house. I have no idea what it looks like, because my parents picked it. They said it was expensive, and there were glass panes everywhere. I'm excited now.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I turn into the drive of a big, three-storey house. I take down the sign which says 'sold' and chuck it in the skip. When I unlock the door, it makes an echoey noise inside the house. I open the door to see boxes piled all around the hall way. I open the box so I can take a peek. My electronics. There's my iMac, MacBook, iPad and TV for my room in there. The next box is just my mahoosive 50" TV for my living room. It's the Samsung Smart TV, and it's bootiful!!
The other boxes in her must be decorations. I walk up the stairs to see a door with my name on it. I open the door to a cream coloured room with the main wall as a Cath Kidson cream floral wallpaper. The King size bed covers half of that wall, with a bedside table on either side of it.
"Oh, my, gosh" I hear myself say under my breath. I walk into the room and turn to the left. There is all my make-up laid out on a cream-coloured vanity in front of a window. Then there's a mirror which is vintage and covers a big part of the wall above the vanity. I open one of the drawers and run my fingers against all the brand new Mac lipsticks. Red, pink, purple, nude and all the others. The second drawer down there are foundations, powders and primers. In the third drawer down there are pallets. In the fourth drawer down there are mascaras and eyeliners. In the fifth drawer down there are brushes and cotton pads. In the sixth drawer down there are tons of Barry M nail varnishes and nail polish removers. Next to the vanity, there's a basket filled with lush products. Most of their cosmetics are in there, along with some body shop products. I take out the shades nude and teal. I grab a sponge from the drawer above and paint my nails nude with a teal ombré. I'm pleased with them, so I wait for them to dry before painting the top coat to give it a shiny layer. Whilst I'm waiting for them to dry, I place the nail varnishes back into the drawer, and I bring the sponge into the en-suite bathroom to wash while I check the rest of the room out. I open the door to the en-suite bathroom and look at the travetine coloured tiles around the bathroom. They are shiny and reflect against the light. The bath is on one side of the room, the shower and the toilet on the other side. The sink and the mirror covering up the rest of that wall is straight in front of the door. I turn on the light so I can see everything clearer. There are no windows in the bathroom, so it's dark apart from the light being let in by my bedroom.
I walk around the rest of the house slowly, taking every detail in. I decide to take everything out of the boxes and start to place them where I think they would look nice. I get to my electronics and try to carry them up the two flights of stairs. I don't know why my parents bought this house for me. Maybe they're thinking of the future, when I will hopefully find the one and grow a family together. It's making me excited just thinking about it.
