Star of my life // Joe Sugg fanfic

Chapter 4

I show everyone to their rooms after we've finished our tacos. Everyone is happy with where they are staying. Darcy hugs me before going to sleep. She just lays there on Louise's lap and it is the most adorable mother daughter thing ever. Darcy is the cutest little girl I have ever met, probably even cuter than Brooke was when she was at that age.

Everyone gets dressed into comfy clothes and we all sit down on the floor with millions of blankets and watch a movie. Joe suggests Elf, but it's summer and it would feel weird. So, we decide to watch Peter Pan. I snuggle up to Zoë and Joe snuggles up to me as we watch the movie. Darcy is asleep now.

The movie ends and we all decide to go to bed, because we are very tired. Me and Gabby decide to watch one episode of PLL before going to sleep. By the end of it, I fall asleep. I just hope Gabby will turn off the TV.

The next day...

I'm woke up to the sound of my phone buzzing. I reach out to check the time and turn the alarm on my phone off. It's 9:00 am. I drag myself out of bed and walk to the bathroom. I wash my face and have a quick shower, then walk back into my bedroom and pick out an outfit to wear for the rest of the day.

I decide on a floaty summer dress with my bikini underneath. I put on my waterproof makeup and head downstairs to grab breakfast. The blender is already out, so I just throw a few berries in and add milk and protein to it. I turn on the blender and watch it whizz around, creating the berries to chop up and liquidise. I grab a tall, glass cup, pour in the smoothie, clean the blender and head into the sitting room.

Everyone is on their laptops or phones, and I'm just about to go and grab my laptop when I suggest for us to go into the pool.

"Who wants to join me in the pool for a little splash about?" I ask everyone. Darcy quickly gets changed behind the sofa and runs up to me.

"I do, I'm super excited!" She exclaims. I smile at her, hoping that I will have a child like Darcy someday. Fingers crossed. Everyone goes up to get changed into their costumes and we all head outside. I have a load of sunbathing beds around the pool, one for everyone, including baby Emma. Caspar doesn't want to let her be in danger, so he cuddles her up close to him.

"Just incase someone kidnaps her," he says, doing the evil eyes at Joe. Joe puts up his arms in surrender, and we all laugh at that. He takes he sunbathing bed and lies onto it, looking up into the sky.

"What you thinking about?" I ask, curious.

"Life," he giggles. Fair enough.

I'm trying to figure out if I like Joe or not. I really want to tell Zoë, but I'm afraid she might not approve of it. I need to, now.

"Zo, please could I talk to you?" I ask, hoping for a yes.

"Sure."

I lead the way up to my bedroom, hoping that nobody has followed me up. I look at her, and she looks quite curious.

"Basically, I kind of like Joe, but I don't know how to open up," I say. I just did, but only to one of my best friends in the world.

"Awe, lovely! I'm glad you've told me, because I have a lot to tell you, young lady," she starts. She sits down on the bed, legs crossed, and pats the space opposite her.

"Right, so Joe has the same feelings as you do for him. He really likes you, Lili. He was once sleep talking and he was talking about you, so that means he was dreaming about you. He said things like 'I really like you, Lili'. I found it so cute. It was when I stayed at his and Caspar's flat. It woke me and Caspar up. We were listening and I recorded a bit on my phone so I could show you."

And, like she said, he was saying things like that.

"So, he has feelings for me?" I ask. She nods. "But, how do I open up to him? I kind of already have, but differently," I say. I tell her about what happened last night, and she just smiles the whole time.

"Well, he said first, so now I hope you find it easier to open up to him proper one day. Maybe I could help you." And with that, we were heading downstairs and out the French doors. I took off my floral dress, and jumped into the pool with my bikini on.

Today's going to be a good day, me thinks.
