Sonja's POV:

I froze in place, tears streaming down my face looking at the tall buff man standing in front of me.

"Troy" my voice cracked and I felt Tucker's grip tighten around me "I thought you were dead."

"Surprise. Right babe?" he smiled evilly and winked at me. I turned and burst into tears into Tucker's shoulder.

"No. Tucker. Please, help me." I squeeled.

"Leave" I heard Tucker say, a slight growl in his voice.

"She's my fiance" Troy said.

"No. She's my wife. No turn around and go"

"Sonja. You're married?" Troy inquired.

My head whipped around, my bloodshot eyes staring straight to Troy.

"Yes. I am. Go. Away"

"But, Sonja. We had something" tears welled up in Troy's eyes.

"A MONTH TROY. I love Tucker. Always have, always will. He saved me. I don't want to see you. Ever" I walked up to Troy. A lifted up my hand.

"You don't even deserve it" I lowered my palm, grabbed Tucker and waded through the crystal clear water back to the bungalow. Tucker grabbed my arm.

"Hey. How did he? I'm confused" my husbands face expression really did show pristine confusion.

"I don't know. Tucker. I don't I just don't" I faced Tucker with my tear stricken face. He pulled me towards him.

"We'll get to the bottom of this, I promise" he shushed me.

"I thought he was dead. For the longest time. Why?" I glanced behind me to where Troy was just a second ago. However, his figure was not there anymore. I furrowed my eyebrows and pushed away from Tucker.

"He's not there. I'm scared Tuck"

"Nothing to be scared of, he can't hurt you. I promise" he pulled my bangs away from my bloodshot eyes and behind my ear. I saw his genuine smile and believed him. Arm in arm we walked back to our hut and laid down on the bed. Soon enough it was 7pm and it was getting dark. Tucker was asleep next to me and thought were racing through my head. I sighed, rolled over and scribbled down a note that said something along the lines of I'm going out for a walk, be back soon. I grabbed our keys, locked the door and left.

I was walking towards the peak that was close to our hotel. It glared down on the water from a hundred feet above. I glanced over the edge and shuddered, it's really not safe. There was not a person in sight because it was evening time and most normal humans were having dinner at this time. I sat down on the edge and pushed my knees up to my chest. I watched the sun emit it's final rays for the day and set behind the horizons. Suddenly the warm evening air and seemingly perfect atmosphere was broken by a cold voice.

"Hello again" Troy said. I scrambled up to my feet, shaking the dirt off my shorts.

"What do you want from me?" I asked, cautiously backing away from the steep edge.

"I want you to be mine. Like those days, those perfect days" Troy took a step towards me.

"No" I spat out.

"So we haven't reached a compromise" Troy walked past me to the edge of the cliff while I backed away even more.

"Isn't this familiar. Me standing on the edge?" Troy inquired.

"Very"

He chuckled.

"You've wanted to do it too" Troy's words rang out, striking me. "Why didn't you?"

I remained silent, listening to the heavy beating of my heart and the quiet rhythmic beating of the waves a hundred feet below. He stepped away and gestured for me to come closer. I looked into his eyes, now filled with tears. I took three steps forward and was at the cliff edge. Inhaling I asked.

"Why?"

"What?" he questioned.

"Why did you come back?" I made my question clear.

"Because I wasn't done. You're not mine" Troy took a step closer.

Troy's POV:

"Because I wasn't done. You're not mine" I said, answering Sonja's question. I haven't seen her in person for so long, I've just been watching her videos, streams and looking at her Instagram pictures. Before me stood a lady that looked so different from the last time I saw her. She was thinner, more tanner and her hair was a different color. I snapped out of my day dream.

"And if I can't have you. No one deserves to" I said, taking another step closer.

"What?" she tried to back away but behind her was only the gaping hole that ended in jagged rocks and cold water.

"You know what" I said. And I pushed her.

I pushed her shoulder causing her to slip and fall of the hundred foot drop. I looked forward, my brain refusing to look down.

Third Person POV:

Silence.

He stood in silence listening for something until he heard it.

Splash.
