Chapter 14: There's Good in Goodbye

Third Person POV:

Sonja was sitting on the couch next to Erin sobbing uncontrollably.

"Erin it's all my... all my... ALL MY FAULT ERIN" she screamed at her.

"No Sonja, it's not, you didn't have to say yes. It's not your fault" Erin put a comforting arm around the red faced girl.

"Erin if I said yes nothing would have happened. Erin I have to fix this. What do I do though?" Sonja retorted brushing her tears off her face.

"I don't know Sonj... I'm sorry but we could go and try to talk him out of it. I don't know if he'll listen but it's worth a shot, right?" Erin proposed an idea.

"Yes please can we try that? I'm in no state to drive, can you? Let's be careful though Canada roads are really icy" Sonja said. The women stood up and left and when they arrived at the building there were fire trucks, police and medics on the scene. Everybody kept asking her questions but she just pushed through the crowd trying to get to Troy. Erin was following closely behind her, pushing people away. Once Sonja and Erin were in the elevator they pushed the last button and once they were at the last floor they took the flight of stairs to the roof.

"Troy!" Sonja ran to the edge and the man turned around.

"What are you doing here?" His voice sounded cold and hurt.

"Listen, just because I said no. You don't have to do this" Sonja said.

"I've been through so much and this really showed me that nobody will love me so what's the point of living?" Troy threw the words at a crying Sonja.

"It's been a little more than a month. It's just to fast. And you kicked me and punched me. I don't even know how to react to that Troy." Sonja took a step forward "But it's okay. Just come down from the edge."

"Sonj come here." Troy gestured to her and she shakily took a step forward. Troy grabbed her chin and brought her closer and kissed her lips. "I'm sorry"

Troy opened his arms sideways and jumped backwards. Sonja's screams pierced the air and Erin was fast enough to run and grab Sonja before she jumped after him. Sonja swung her body around and fell into Erin's arms.

"Take me away from here Erin" Sonja whispered into Erin's neck "Take me far away."

"Okay, come on" Erin pushed Sonja ahead and down the stairs and into the elevator. Once they were downstairs Erin told everything to the Police who nodded understandingly and let Sonja go home.

~Time jump to present where Sonja just told Tucker the whole story~

Tucker's POV:

Sonja had just told me the whole story about her ex boyfriend and she was crying so hard. I put an arms around her and kissed her forehead.

"Sonja I'm so sorry. But that will never happen again, I promise. I love you: I'm so happy you told me and had the courage to do so." Tucker told her. Sonja looked up and smiled.

"And that's why I moved here. To escape everything. And that's the best decision I've ever made. I was afraid of hurting anybody ever again so I tried to isolate myself but then I met you and I just fell in love and you saved me Tucker. I was in a dark, dark place" Sonja leaned in and kissed Tucker. He kissed back and when they pulled apart Tucker suggested getting some food and an Arizona and watching a movie. Sonja was totally down for the idea so they grabbed some food and two Arizona's from the fridge and crashed on the couch to watch a movie.

"What do you wanna watch Sonj?" I asked her and looked at her but she had fallen asleep. I smiled and pulled her closer to me and fell asleep.
