Tucker's POV:
I woke up in the morning, absolutely ecstatic about the upcoming day. Hopefully so was Jordan. Oh wait, he doesn't know anything. I grin and hop out of bed, seeing as Sonja was already downstairs sitting on the couch and dangling her car keys.
"Give me five minutes" I leaned over the railing to talk to Sonja.
I glanced at the time and saw that it was nearing ten thirty. I threw on my episode three shirt, a pair of washed blue jeans and topped it all off with a cologne that Sonja gave me for my birthday. I swished a wet comb through my hair, making it lay down in my usual style. I bounced down the stairs, motioned an okay to Sonja and we sat down in the car.
"So which Target was Erin talking about? There's two near our house" I said, suddenly realizing that the redhead did not specify the location.
"Probably the one closer to her house" Sonja shrugged and put on some music.
Deciding that this was the more probable answer, I started the engine and left the driveway.
Fifteen minutes and seven songs later we were at Target, our spirits high, seeing Erin at the entrance.
Sonja waved to get Erin to notice her. They exchanged a few words and then caught up with me.
We stood in the party aisle, dazed by all colors of the decorations.
"I think we should split our duties" Erin suggested "Sonja, you're on food, Tucker you're on party supplies and I'm on presents. Sound good?"
Sonja and I nodded, exchanging glances. We split up, going into the corresponding aisle.
I walked into the maze of colors and noise making objects. Usually if there was a party, Sonja was the one who would organize the decorations because I was absolute crap at it.
I waltzed through the packed aisles, searching for some hints of purple. I gathered a blank purple banner, some lilac streamers, purple coasters, cups, plates and eating utensils. I placed the objects into the basket and met Sonja and Erin at the cash register. Sonja got some lemon-poppyseed muffins, chips, some soda, beer, salad, cookies and a cake that said 'Congratulations' on it.
"Not that healthy, I know, but it's okay" Sonja said after noticing that I was looking into her basket.
Erin had acquired some wrapping papers, shirts, grilling utensils and some gift cards.
"I have some higher tier presents at the house, hidden" she looked really pleased with herself when she said that, looking into her basket.
We took separate cars, getting back to Erin and Jordan's house. Erin gave us an all clear and we walked inside of the empty space.
"I cleaned it yesterday, anticipating the party" she grinned, admiring her handiwork.
"Let's get working" I dropped the plastic Target bags onto the floor.
Sonja put hers on the table and started unloading the perishable products into the fridge.
Erin told us to start setting up while she wrapped the gifts upstairs. Sonja put on some Monstercat Radio and because of Jordan's surround sound system, it sounded better then ever.
I took the banner out from the bag.
"Hey so I got this blank banner and I want you to write on it because my handwriting is complete poop" I turned to Sonja.
She nodded, grabbing a black sharpie from the kitchen drawer and kneeling down onto the floor next to the banner.
"What do you want it to say?" she glanced at me, uncapping the sharpie.
"How about just a simple Congratulations Jordan. And sign it something like 'Love, your crew'" I shrugged my shoulders.
She jotted down the words onto the banner.
"Beautiful. Help me put it up?" I asked, an innocent smile on my face.
She grabbed a chair and I did the same.
After twenty minutes of struggling with the poster, we got it hung up on some nails. Erin came down the stairs about thirty five minutes later with a heap of wrapped presents. She dropped them in the corner, covering it with a cardboard box.
"It's hard wrapping presents" she said, wiping the seat off her forehead and smiling.
We arranged the rest of the party and called all the guests to come in. Everybody plowed in, launching themselves at the snack table but Erin blew her pink whistle just in time. Everyone froze in place.
"What?" Tom squealed.
"Tom, aren't you supposed to be in England?" I said, surprised. I didn't expect him to be here. To be fair, he has been spending a lot more time in the USA then normal.
"JORDAN WILL BE HERE IN FIVE MINUTES! HIDE!" Erin yelled from the top of the stairs.
Whispers circled the room, everybody darting around the house. Two minutes later, everybody was settled, the door was locked and Erin turned the lights off.
"Shhh" I held my hand over Sonja's mouth, who tried to giggle.
Her face turned red from keeping back her laughter which only made me wanna laugh.
Everyone heard keys jingling in the lock and held their breath.
The door opened.
Jordan walked in.
"Erin, I'm home" he said, taking off his shoes.
Jordan's POV:
I walked into the house, everything was pitch black.
"Erin, I'm home" I spoke into the darkness, only to not receive a response.
I shrugged the shoes off my feet and stepped into the kitchen.
I flicked the light switch.
"SURPRISE" multiple voices shouted at me.
"Jesus" I clutched my heart, grinning at the smiling faces that stood in front of me.
"It's a surprise congratulations party" Erin said, shoving through the crowd. She made her way to me and kissed me, while our audience cooed.
"Thank you" I looked at the crowd.
Tucker, Sonja, Tom, Mark, Nick, Brennon, Ally, James, Erin, Dec and Riley.
"Thanks guys. Let's party" I grabbed a orange juice from the table to my left.
