Chapter 12

Cold wisps of air and the waves crashing down on the rocks filled the silence of the crowd, all eyes stared shock upon what they haven't expected

The Prince in baffled mind, still weren't sure upon what is happening, he could only look the people around him, the princess and the royal Historian weeped, Kubo blankly stared on the ground with no word, Norman, holding Neil's back to support him, even the soldiers and the other Huntsmen had to look upon each other to process everything

Was it really his dear friend on that rock?

He tried to believe that it wasn't, he tried to tell himself that it was all just a horrible nightmare

Neil, couldn't able to take everything, he stepped forward and ordered some of his fellow Huntsmen to carry those bodies back at the cliff

"They don't deserve to be left in here! Bring them back, Help me....please..." he muttered, founding his way closer towards his dear old friend, with the other Huntsmen following his trail, Neil halted, kneeling down in solemn as he saw his dear friend lying motionless by the rock, he gritted his teeth in vain as he remembered last time he saw Wybourne was back at the party

Talking, smiling and lively...

But not this....

Slowly, carefully as he could be, Neil scooped his friend's arm up, not minding about the weight that he had to carry, a trembled of cold and his heart shattered when he felt Wybie's body felt limp on his arms

That immediately had to make him realize

That he's dead, his friend is dead

The Hunstmen followed along, gently carrying the woman's body, the two women dashed their away towards Coraline as they weakly walked, caressing her cold face, Winifred let out another mournful cry for not she had only lose her dear friend, but also a relative for just one evening...

"Where... should we be taking them your Highness?" One of the Huntsmen weakly asked as he looked down on their leader's corpse

Arthur doesn't know what to do at this point..

Not until Agatha stepped forward, to answer the question

"I think I know where..."

The crowd left from the ocean, walking side by side as they slowly marched on their way back at the cliff, taking them to a place, a place whee those two shared their wonderful memories

As soon as they were greeted by the other cursed women, the other men from Prince's side rushed towards to see their wives, friends, lovers and daughters in delight, hugging them closely on their arms to finally reunited them again

Only to realize that it wouldn't have happened if Wybie haven't discovered them

A pain of guilt and realization caused them to turn back their happiness drain down into sadness again as they explained everything that happened to the other women

And now, they were carrying them to the place where Agatha had told them to, under her lead

Walking deeper through the forest, Kubo held her hand in silent as he wipe off the tear that trickled down on his face

The crackling sound of dried leaves shuffled the entired crowd as bushes began tot frew thicker

Winifred realized where they were going

Finally, they reached the lake

The place upon where everything had started

Slowly placing their bodies under the large Willow tree, the one particular where Wybie would try and rest himself beside Coraline as they would talk
