I slowly walk up the metallic gray stairs
following lightbulbs directions.
And then, I see him
..Trophy.
He's the one who hurt lightbulb, I just
know it. I approach him, he laughs.
"Oh, I see dweeb-bulb went and got
her little friend to beat me up."
He chuckled.
"I'm sOoOoOo scared" he scoffed.
This made my rage grow. My bristles
sparked, as before I knew it, the fire
alarm was going off. I panicked,
knowing the teachers would be coming
up soon to investigate. So, I grabbed
Lightbulb and ran to the nearest
classroom.
"BRUSH BUDDY! WHAT ARE YOU
DOING!" She cried.
I calmed myself down as I locked the
classroom door. Lightbulb was
hyperventilating as she paced around
the small room.
"WHAT HAPPENED BACK THERE!"
She cried in a nervous tone.
"I- I'm sorry.. I got overwhelmed and-"
She cut me off, putting her finger to my
lips. I was frustrated, but curious.
"Painty.. it's okay." She said calmly.
"Oh.. rea?-" I attempted to finish,
but she leaned in.. and kissed me!
It was so sudden.. but.. UGH!
FEELINGS ARE HARD!
I was shocked. After it was over, she
just looked at me. I could tell she was
embarrassed. I was too..
She blushed a bit, and quickly turned to
face the door. She was definitely
embarrassed.
"Hey.. uh.. Lightbulb." I said nervously.
She didn't respond.
"It's alright, I didn't mind."
She slowly turned to face me, her eyes
glowing with tears.
"Really..?" Her eyes widened.
"Really." I responded calmly.
even though many emotions flooded
my head. But one was stronger than
the rest. It was love.
