Today is the first day of the Grand Magic Game's main events! Today's competition segment has ended with Phoenix grave tied for last with Fairy tail B with 0 points! There's still one more part to today's events: the battle portion. As its name suggests, it consists of a 1-on-1 battle! A victory in the battle is worth ten points, a loss is worth no points. In the case of a draw, both teams get five points. But because Phoenix Grave ties with Fairy Tail team A, the rules were modified, Phoenix Grave will go against the winning team of each match. If the team opposing Phoenix grave wins they will earn 5 extra points, but if it is Phoenix grave that wins they will earn 10 points, the losing team on either side will earn 0 points, and in the case of a draw for any type of battle, both teams will earn five points! The competition has only just begun! Let's get started

Chapati Lola: Day 1, Match 1 will pit Fairy Tail A's Lucy Heartfilia... versus Raven Tail's Flare Corona!

Kenshi: So when is it going to be our turn to fight?

Kuno: You idiot one of us will battle the winner of this fight

Ohara: (Y/N) What is the point of watching this battle since it has nothing to do with the other Dragonslayers?

(Y/N): I wanna see what the rest of fairy tail can do, I need to know if they will be trouble for me

Charlotte: It seem the battle is beginning

Punken: Competitors, Step forward! this entire arena will serve as the battlefield as such, your teammates have been moved off the field you have a 30-minute time limit to incapacitate your opponent before time is up and you'll win NOW LET THE MATCH BEGIN

As soon as the battle began Lucy makes the first move she uses one of her Celestial keys and summoning, Taurus who quickly slashes his axe

Flare: Oh my! celestial spirit magic! and with a zodiac spirit, at that

Flare, avoids Taurua's attack with a jump in the air

He absorb the sand with his axe until it's completely wrapped with it, while from the sidelines Taurus then charges at Flare and strikes her with Sandstorm Axe Aldebaran, sending her flying with the tornadoes of sand.
