This little ficlet started out as a bonus scene for 'Lion Cub', and it was originally going to be put into "Little Lions and Flower Buds"... but then I got Covid and was stuck in bed for a week and it spiralled into this :)
If you are new here and have not read 'Lion Cub', that's totally okay! In my opinion this can be read as a standalone, there; are just some subtle references and context clues that you'll be missing.
