Destiny and I were putting our plan in motion. I was finishing up the trap area, that Destiny had hidden behind a cloaking spell, while she was looking for Fate so that she could lead her to it. Our plan was simple I would set up the runic array that was needed and Destiny would lead Fate into the array, then we would combine our magic into a seal that would not only kick Fate out of the multiverse but would also prevent Fate from entering it again.

The seal wouldn't be perfect as it is a rush job but it will work primarily as we are going to split its power, one half would link to me so that even if Destiny gets defeated by Fate the seal will still hold, and the other would link to Destiny as she would be the one providing the power for the seal. As I put the last rune down in the array I heard the sound of fighting coming closer. I looked up and saw Destiny fighting with fate in the distance, and they were both rapidly getting closer. I backed as far away from the array as I dared and prepared to defend myself in case something went wrong.

Soon Destiny and Fate were fighting just over where the array was. 'I just need to wait for the right moment' I thought as I scanned the skies for the opening that would allow me to strike. 'Not yet.....not yet......NOW!' I launched a magic attack that took the form of ink like tentacles and wrapped them around Fate, as soon as the tentacles wrapped around Fate I reeled them in while Destiny came and landed beside me. The tentacles dragged Fate kicking and screaming into the center of the array. Once she was there the runes began to glow and Destiny started to chant. I don't know what language she was speaking but I could feel the power in the words, as the chant went on the light of the runes became brighter and brighter, they eventually became so bright that I had to close my eyes lifting my arm to cover my eyes as well.

When the light died down and I was able to open my eyes again I saw that me and Destiny were the only two beings in the area, both the runic array and Fate were gone. I looked over to Destiny to see her breathing a little heavier than before, she also seemed more tired somehow. I noticed a light on the back of one of her hands and a similar one coming from my hand as well, when I looked at it I saw a miniature version of the array, its glow eventually died down and it disappeared but I could still feel its magic on my hand.

She looked over at me and started to speak "Little one the seal has worked and Fate can no longer enter this multiverse, however, I will need to leave here as well so I can continue the fight with her and distract her from focusing her power into breaking the seal. Before I go there are a few more things I must tell you, First, there is a balance to this multiverse do not create too many Aus or you will upset the balance, and do not worry about the multiverse filling up too quickly either as it can hold several thousand Aus. Secondly, the stability of the seal was split between us both, I hold the structural integrity which keeps cracks and holes that were not already in the seal from forming and you hold its foundation, so long as you remain alive the seal will hold, although I fear that cracks and breaks will appear during my fight that will allow some of Fates power through."

"I understand, and I will do my best to make you proud," I said with a smile as Destiny started to glow.

"Ah, I almost forgot to ask. Do you have a name for your self little one?"

I smiled "My name is Ash Slys, But you can just call me Ash." With that Destiny smiled and vanished.
