Chapter one) rodrick is the worst

Dear Re-Diary,

To be honest I don't really want to write in this book but I kinda have too. My mom is making me write in here because she thinks it'll help me with all thats on my mind, because all my friends just moved away for college. And sure it's been hard but I don't need a stupid book to talk to. I have my cat myla and she treats me just fine! As long as i give her treats of course.

How did I manage to forget how much i hate this school... And the people in it. The guy you see leaning on the lockers is Darren, he thinks he's so much better than me. We used to be friends in grade school until he started bullying me. I just don't know what happened he used to be so nice! But I guess people change. One upside of my friends moving away is that my mom will finally let me get a job! And believe it or not Ive got my first babysitting job today after school. I'm actually really excited!

Eating lunch alone wasn't even that bad... Even though I'm pretty sure some kid threw baby carrots in my hair. Jokes on him I love baby carrots! Besides I wasn't paying too much attention at lunch anyway. I was busy looking around trying to spy out all the hot people. Pfft well other than myself of course! Now that all my friends are gone I really would just love to have a partner. Though I dunno how much of a chance I have given my social status is at an all time low.

After school I i met Mrs. Heffley! An oh my gosh she is so caring and nice! I can't believe I get to baby sit her kids! They must be so well behaved... Well at least i thought. You see I'm not really "babysitting" I'm more of a nanny.. You can't really babysit a 13 year old. I thought I was going to be babysitting the seven year old Manny, but he goes to boys and girls Club after school to learn moderskills. For my first time babysitting Mrs heffley just asked me to watch Greg her son. And make dinner for him. And in theory it sounds easy enough and it would be! If it was just Greg..

But noooooo if course not! He has a brother rodrick. And he's the worst! I have him in my math class an he's almost always late! And when i was trying to get Greg to eat dinner, rodrick locked me inside the living room so he could mess with Greg without me intervening. I can't believe that kid has friends when he treats he's brother like that, let alone his own babysitter! So rude! And he has the audacity to tell his mom how great of a babysitter I am just because he likes how much of a push over I am! I swear no more Mr nice girl!

And you know what since then the week was going great! Until... I got kicked out of choir... I missed one of our most important Performances and my teacher just decided to kick me off then and there! But I had to miss it my little sister was sick, and my parents wouldn't let me go even if i wanted to... So now I really don't have any friends... I don't really have anything now.. All I wanted to do was cry forever and never leave my room... But you can't get paid for crying all day!

At least babysitting got easier over the week, it seems rodrick lost interest in pestering me sooo now I kinda just watch Greg and his best friend hangout, an make them food when they are hungry. But just because rodrick stopped annoying me by attacking Greg doesn't mean he stopped being annoying! He always asks me to make him cookies or sandwichs for his band when they practice. At least there music isn't half bad! Rodrick seemed really down this week so I asked him why he seemed so sad an he told me his lead singer of the band is moving to Missouri.. And that really sucks because she was amazing! And then i thought for a minute....... WHAT IF I JOINED THE BAND! and with that I dashed into the garage to go bother RODRICK! NOW THE TABLES HAVE TURNED!
