Malia was excited. Tonight was the bonfire and the girl felt like she could get away from all the doom and gloom at her house. Her mom was being super protective over her and her sister lately which was slightly annoying. Adaline had been having some problems with her husband but it was okay to say the least. Everything was okay. The blonde stood in her room in front of a mirror with two dresses in her hands.

"Okay, which one looks better?" She turned around, looking at Nate with raised eyebrows. He was laying across her bed with his head on her pillow.

"Whatever one you want." He told her. She frowned at the response, turning back to the mirror. She held a blue dress with a deep v up to her body. She bit her lip anxiously and Nate stood up from the bed walking over to her.

"This is my first night away since-" She cut herself off as her boyfriend wrapped his arms around her waist. "I just don't want to look all sad and mopey by wearing something sad and mopey." Nate had no idea how wearing a certain dress could make someone look like that but oh well.

The boy smiled at her anyways and kissed the top of her head. "You could wear sweats and a tank top and still be the hottest girl in the world." She smiled slightly at him. She leant up to kiss his cheek, and walked away from him back into her cupboard.

Nate mumbled something incoherently and Malia furrowed her brows. She walked back out but Nate wasn't standing there. Her eyes widened as she saw Simon Kelleher with his usual cocky smirk on his face. "You'd look hot even if you were pregnant."

Malia jolted awake. Her eyes wide and breathing really heavy. She slowly sat up to realise that Simon wasn't standing in her bedroom and that she was alone in the house. Adaline had gone for some excursion as a chaperone and wouldn't be back until the end of the day. The blonde grabbed her phone off the bedside table groaning when she realised the time. Falling back onto her bed looking at the roof of her canopy bed. "What the actual hell."

When she got to school that morning she noticed Bronwyn sitting on the steps in front of the building with flash cards. "That's mitosis by the way." She let her presence known as the girl looked up from the cards with a confused look. "The cell cycle? It's mitosis. The phases in order of PMAT."

Bronwyn realised what she was going on about and nodded. "Right. Prophase, Metaphase, Anaphase and telophase. That's smart. " She looked slightly disappointed in herself. "I knew that." The brunette mumbled.

Malia shrugged, moving over to sit next to the girl. "You'll be fine B. Biology is the most complicated science, I believe. If you can remember the cell cycle you'll be fine." She knocked their shoulders together and smiled. The blonde grabbed a pen out of her bag and wrote something on a blank flash card.

PMAT. Bronwyn smiled slightly, and nodded her head in thanks. A motor bike engine grabbed Malia's attention. She sighed and looked over at the vehicle pulling into the parking lot. "That's my que." The blonde started grabbing her things and stood up. "Bronwyn, if you ever need help studying just give me a call." She gave the girl one last smile before walking off.

"You should talk to him." Bronwyn told the girl. Malia stood in her place but didn't turn around. "You'll never ever to forgive him if you don't talk to him." Malia didn't say she just walked away letting the words evaporate away.

Malia was in a good mood when she got to lunch. Well that was until she heard that everyone was talking about last night. She got to her table hearing her friends were talking about the exact same thing. "Can we not talk about that please?" She asked her friends as she sat down.
