○Chapter 1: Worries○

"Kazuha!"

"Oh, good morning y/n, you're up quite early today." said Kazuha as he kept the notebook he was holding on the table.

"Well..since i've got a lot of time on my hands, i decided to train my powers!"

"Huh whats the sudden burst of motivation all of a sudden?" Kazuha questioned.

"Well..i dont know i just suddenly got a feeling to do so!"

"Heh..you're quite strange" he said, as his smile slowly faded.

Kazuha was a bit different today from his usual self. The bright glow from his face, the lack of floral vibes that he always radiates, all felt a bit off. You noticed that there had to be something that happened.

"Kazuha...whats wrong?" concern showing on your face.

"Ah..you noticed..nothing much just a few complications and arguements within my clan and the elders" he said.

Kazuha was your childhood friend as long as you could remember. You two were very close. His clan took you in after your parents had died in the hands of the fatui. The only reason you were taken in was because your parent's reputation in inazuma. They also had good ties with Kazuha's clan. They took you in only out of pity and cared very little about you. The only one who ever cared and loved you ever since was Kazuha. He was like a brother to you.

Seeing kazuha in such a state definitely made you want to do something about it so he feels more at ease.

"Kazuha, if there's anything i can do to help then please let me know. I'd do anything."
You said as you placed your hand atop his gently carressing to let him know that you're there for him.

"Thank you y/n but i am afraid the matter with my clan isn't something for young people like us to deal with."

"Young? Aren't we already adults? How long are we gonna be treated like children?"
You didn't like the ways of the elders who always saw yourself and kazuha as 'kids'.

"I understand y/n. I even tried lending a hand but it seemed like something serious and it.."
Kazuha silenced.

"It..?" you looked at him with worriful eyes.
"It may involve the fatui." He managed to say

The fatui. The one thing you hated from ever since you were born. Its always the fatui. Every minor problem that emerges is because of the fatui, and that minor problem slowly turns into a disaster, a tragedy. And now that the fatui has sneaked their dirty paws into your loved one's family, you couldn't withstand it. Not only were they responsible for your parents death but also ruined many other lives and now they're around again stirring up trouble and tragedy as always.

"Kazuha..say how about you take some rest now..we both will try to figure something out later alright?"

"And what are you gonna do?"

"Ahh dont worry about me..i'll be in Chinju Forest training" you said putting aside his worries for now.

"Alright then, stay safe" said Kazuha as he watched you leave his room.

You slowly walked your way to Chinju Forest. Something about that place always calmed you down. It gave you a very familiar and comforting feeling. So close yet so distant. You felt nostalgic yet you dont have any memories ever being here. It was just one day you randomly came across this place trying to search for sakura bloom and the beautiful atmosphere of the place left you in tears. You had no idea what the tears were for. But it felt empty. As if something or someone important was just torn out of your life.

You knew Kazuha or the elders were hiding something from you. You would never get a proper answer out of them when you asked how kazuha got the rather large scar on his forehead. He always hides the scar under his bangs. You wouldn't dare pester them about the scar any further as the elders always gave you a rather disappointed look when u brought up the subject. You definitely were curious as to how he got the scar and as to why you felt so empty but you felt restricted as always.

'Give it some more time and ill definitely get a proper answer out of the elders.' You thought to yourself.

You again find yourself crying in this strange place. The upsetting news drained ur energy and motivation for training, so you decided to head back.

You looked behind to the beautiful scenery of Chinju forest. You let out a deep sigh and wiped away ur tears once again restraining your curiosity but not for long. Once the current issues of the Kaedehara Clan is over, you would definitely quench your curiosity.
