○Chapter 6: Mr. Yashiro Commissioner○

(Its an unnecessary chapter..you can skip it if you want. The real plot starts from chapter 7 so do as you as you wish!)

"What brings you here, y/n?"
Thoma welcomed you into the Kamisato estate.

"Good Morning Thoma! Is Ayaka here?"

"Ahh, Lady Ayaka has went to Ritou to handle some affairs. Anything i can help you with?"

"Actually, I have a favour to ask.."
You told Thoma about the favour you wanted. He understood the fact that it was definitely not something that could be done by yourself.

"Ahh, i see...y/n..Sir Ayato is in today, he's currently having his food, but i don't think he'll mind an acquaintance"

Your eyes lit up in hope.
Ahhh Thoma..what a good boy T-T.
"Thoma...Thankyouu!"
You said sniffling, crying tears of happiness.
He gave a bright chuckle in response.
"No problem! Anything to help you!"

Thoma led you to a room in the estate which you assumed to be the commissioner's room.
"Sir Ayato! You've got an acquaintance!"

"Ah Thoma! Send them in!"

"Alright then! You can enter, I'll go bring you something to drink."
Thoma said, giving you a smile, then walking away towards the kitchen.

"May i come in?" You asked knocking on the door, now feeling a bit nervous.

"Ah, yes please"
You slid the door open, letting yourself in.

"Good Morning, Y/n, please take a seat!"
Ayato said. He seemed to have finished his lunch, as he dragged his paperwork back on the table again.

"Mr. Yashiro Commissioner.."
You bent down,
"I'm very sorry for my behavior last time! I acted without thinking, and got a bit vulgar with my words. I didn't mean to give that attitude towards you! Im really sorry!"
You apologized from when you almost sweared at the commissioner, but luckily Kazuha was there to stop you.

Ayato looked a bit surprised from the sudden apology,
"Ahh, It's alright! Dont worry about it! Please take a seat."

"Thankyou very much" you said, sitting infront of him, feeling a bit embarrassed.

"And, please drop the honorifics. Mr. Yashiro Commissioner sounds a bit...long. Please call me Ayato." He laughed.

"Ahh sorry, A-ayato."

"Good. So, anything you need?"

"Ah yes..I've got a favour to ask of you...It may be too much so don't hesitate to turn it down!"

"A favour? Let's hear it! I'll do what i can to help you out"

You explained the whole awkward situation with Lady Yae, and that you've planned to go on a journey to find the 'him' Lady Yae speaks  of.
"If I'm gonna go on a journey to find someone I'm not even familiar with, then strength is necessary...so, Ayato, can you please help me train?"

"Hmm..training huh? It's true, you do make a point. Teyvat has monsters roaming around in the wild, and if you're gonna go on a journey, then you definitely need to strengthen yourself.."
Ayato leaned on the table, examining your eyes.
"Y/n."

"Yes sir?"

"Didn't i tell you to drop the honorifics?"

"Ah sorry..yes, Ayato?"

"Do you really have what it takes to go on a journey by yourself?"

"...yes, i think so."

"I think so? Your training is gonna be harsh you know? Im not gonna go easy on you."

Was it really a good idea coming here to ask for the favour? Oh, here I am regretting life descisions once again.

"I'll do my best!" You were determined. In order to get an answer, you had to do this.

"Very well then! Although..I will be busy handling affairs...I personally can't train you. Very unfortunate..However, I'll be assigning one of my trusted Shuumatsubaan to you. It's starts tomorrow."

"TOMORROW?!?! I mean- Thankyou so much! Im really grateful! I'll do anything to return the favour!"

"Hmm...anything huh? How about a kiss?" He said, trying his best to hide his smirk.

"....what? Huh? A kiss?"

"Yes, seems like a fair deal to me"

I can't ever understand this person, is he serious right now? Kiss the Yashiro Commissioner? Hmm..he's got the good looks tho, not that i mind- Y/N NO! KAZUHA, DONT FORGET ABOUT KAZUHA.

"Huh!? What..are you serious??" You said giving an awkward laugh.

Ayato chuckled in response, "What an amusing expression!..Relax, I'm just joking."

"Ahh..heh.."
You sighed in relief, laughing along with him.

This man is dangerous to be around.

"Well.. I better get going, i need to make preparations. Once again, Thankyou so much Mr. Yashiro Commissioner!"
You got up, bowing down as a form of showing your gratitude.
Ayato looked at you with a poker face, without saying anything in response.
"..."

"Oh- Thankyou so much Ayato!"

"No problem, y/n! Please come by again." He gave you a grin waving you goodbye as you left the room.

You let you a sigh, as you left the Kamisato Estate.

Well that worked out well..although conversations with the Yashiro Commissioner  is so tiring.

Thinking about the training you slowly walked towards Chinju Forest.
You're always managing to find yourself in this place at the end of the day, it's become a daily habit. You were nervous and excited but also at the same time, were very clueless about what you're doing with your life.

Whoever this person is, wherever you are and however I'm related to you, I'll make sure to find you.
