The next day the Gang was sitting in Dr. Saltzman's office coming up with a plan to find the vampire who killed those people
Alaric: so did anybody find anything (ask as he sits down in his chair)
Mg: we tried following the vampires trail but it disappeared like it never existed (says)
Alaric:(sighs) hope what about you (ask)
Hope: we're still looking (says) which is really weird I never heard of a vampire that can lose their trail so fast it's like they don't exist they're toying with us
Kaleb: so we're at a dead end then (says)
Faith: it appears so we'll try and keep looking see if there is another way we can find them (says and alaric nods)
Alaric: meanwhile you guys go to class once you're done keep looking (says, they nod and soon left his office)
Hope headed towards the gym she changed into her gym clothes before punching the bag, as she was doing that she heard noises behind her and before you know it she moved her legs and kick someone into a wall she turned around to see that it was Mateo
Hope: Mateo (says running to him) what the hell I could have killed you
Mateo: not the first time I get hit into a wall (says as hope helps his stand up)
Hope: what are you doing here (ask) I thought I made it clear that I don't wanna talk to you
Mateo: I came here to apologize for what I said to you yesterday (says) it was wrong of me to tell you what to do and how you should do it, it's your decision and it's your problem that you need to figure out on your own
Hope: and I'm sorry for yelling at you (says) it was wrong of me
Mateo: I guess we go have some apologies (says and hope smiles) you know it's starting to became a thing for me to find you all upset
Hope: I guess it's gonna be a while until you find me in my good mood (says)
Mateo:(nods before looking at her arm) your bleeding hope
She looked down at her arm to see that she was indeed bleeding but there was no cut
Hope: that's weird I must've cut myself and didn't feel it (says)
Mateo: here let me go get a tissue to wipe it off (says as he pulled out a tissue from his pocket and whip the blood off)

What they didn't know was that someone was watching them from a different angle, it was Rafael and he looked pissed, from his angle it look like they were kissing he turns to leave to make a stupid mistake
Lizzie was sitting in the woods bored out of her mind She was trying to find a way to get Mateo to notice her instead of hope she heard noises behind her she turned around to see Rafael who looked pissed
Lizzie: Who peed in your cereals (ask)
Rafael: I just caught Mateo and I hope kissing in the gym (says angrily)
Lizzie: wait what (says shocked)
Rafael: all this time I was defending her I loved her but I see she's just like her father a cheater and a liar (says)
Lizzie: at least now we can agree on something she'll do anything to get what she wants (says)
Rafael: what are you doing out here in the woods by yourself anyway (ask)
Lizzie: I was going to do something for Mateo to get him to notice me but apparently I don't want him to anymore since he has his head so far up hope's ass (says and Rafael chuckles)
Rafael: don't worry there will be someone for you (says)
Lizzie: and there will also be the right person for you too just not hope (says)
For the next few hours the two talked and it was already 8 PM already past curfew to be in school so they walk to the school
Lizzie: you know it was nice talking to you (says)
Rafael: same I remember when we got off on the wrong start (says)
Lizzie: trust me old me was embarrassing (says and they laughed) but thanks
Rafael: for what (ask)

Lizzie: so I was hoping maybe we could hang out again and do something that's not in the woods and-(got stopped when Rafael kissed her) what are you doing
Rafael: and just go with it (says and kissed her again, she kissed back)
And soon the two did the one thing that would make them forget everything, with Mateo who was by his house outside near the woods, he put hope's blood in the circle and some of her items and started chanting
