When Connie said truth, dare or drink with a group of people, you had assumed it was would be some randoms that you've never met before, not the exact people you were hoping to avoid all night long.

Armin, Mikasa and Eren sat around the seating area in a secluded room, along with a few other people you didn't initially recognize— two other blondes; one a tall, muscular male and the other, a petite woman with long hair and eyes as blue as Armin's. All the while, the freckled brunette you spotted Eren speaking with moments earlier was seen seated closely next to her, fingers deftly intertwined.

This was not good.

Jean immediately locks eyes with Eren— the two sporting the same vicious gaze, neither one willing to back down first before the other. Jean hasn't forgotten the name you called out that day in the kitchen; truthfully he'll probably never forget it, even if he's chosen to forgive you for it.

So being here, now, face to face with the neighbor you were thinking of while he was the one lapping at you... well, it was taking everything in him to not reach across the center table and strangle the man.

He meant what he said to you earlier, that he was going to change for you; be a better man, like the one he was when you fell in love with him. He was determined to prove it to you, and this was the first step— no more accusations, no more petty arguments, no more jealousy.
