The two of them sat down on either end of Akemi's bed. She pulled her over her knees before lifting her head up to face Sakusa. He gave her a small smile before ruffling her hair and opening his mouth.

"So I know I sprung it up on you but I did that because I genuinely do like you a lot and I know I have never told you but I couldn't help myself..."

Akemi smiled. It was all she could do in retaliation as he never usually spoke this much, so she let him speak. It was obvious that Sakusa wanted to get his thoughts out of his head so she wasn't going to get in the way of that.

He kept rambling on and on about how he was sorry but how he meant everything he did. What he was sorry for as he kept mentioning was for not asking permission before he kissed her, he didn't want her to feel uncomfortable because of it or him.

She just smiled before leaning over to him and giving him a peck on his lips. Sakusa was stunned into silence. That was until a smile broke out on his face and he leaned back as if she just knocked the air out of his lungs.

A breathtaking smile then burst out onto his face, it spreading onto Akemi's own face as well. He quickly grabbed her hand and tugged her into a hug that went slightly wrong. You see he pulled her a bit too hard and she fell on top of him. There was no thoughts in his mind about how they were hugging when she could have all kinds of germs on her, the only thing in his mind right now was the pure happiness he felt at her feeling the same as him.

After the two of them laid in the hug for a minute before Akemi really started to think about what state they were currently lying in. Her cheeks flushed a bright red before she tried to pull away from the hug. Only to have Sakusa pull her back into him and for him to place his hand on her head in order to keep her in close.

The two continued to lay in their comfortable silence until there was a noise emitting for one of the two. It sounded like a small rumbling. Akemi looked embarrassingly at her stomach before gazing back up to Sakusa's eyes which despite his normal expression she could see there was a sparkle of laughter in his eyes. She just buried her head back into his chest before promptly lifting it and making her way out of her room and to the kitchen, not before flashing him a smile and beckoning him to follow her.

The two of them walked into the kitchen and Akemi went straight for the cupboard and pulled out two packs of biscuits for the two of them to munch on. The two of them sat back down on the sofa in the living room, sitting much closer than what they had used to. The two turned on the television and flipped to a new movie that was being shown.

They sat there mindlessly eating their biscuits until the front door was opened. Her mother walked in and stopped when she saw the two of them just sat there peering at her. She gave them a small wave before heading up to her room.

She came back down the stairs and spotted the two packets of biscuits, which Akemi was trying to subtly hide in-between the two of them. She shook her head and gave her daughter a smirk before putting her hand out.

"You know your not allowed snacks before dinner Kemi, how many times have I told you now" her mother started to nag, a small smile placed on her face.

Akemi grabbed the packets and placed them onto her mothers outstretched hand, a pout forming on her face. She fell back into the seat with a flop, causing Sakusa to let out a small smile at her cuteness. her mother saw Sakusa sat there and gave him a small smile before walking off to the kitchen.

"I hope your joining us for dinner Sakusa! It would be a shame if you left without a proper meal!" They heard her mother call from the other room.

"I guess I better stay then!" Was Sakusa's reply, making both of the Aikawa women smile. The three of them headed to the kitchen as the two teenagers heading to the seats placed along the wall of the room, while Akemi's mother headed to the fridge to get the ingredients to make them supper.

As time passed the three of them were enjoying themselves. Akemi's mother got to know more about Sakusa, Sakusa got to know more about Akemi's home life and Akemi got to see how someone she sees being incredibly close to and her mother's relationship grows over just one meal.

The three of them were having a great time together. That was until Sakusa had to leave, as they had early practice the next day. The two teenagers walked out of the house to the small gate that marked the entrance. The two of them stood there, for once, in a comfortable silence. Sakusa reached out and patted her head, it was almost as if it was becoming a habit for him.

The two of them smiled at each other, the lingering question no longer bearing a weight on their shoulders. Akemi put her hand upwards and took his hand away from her head, holding the males hand in her own before looking back up to his eyes.

"So. I just want to get this out of the way and officially ask you. Will you be my boyfriend?"

The little smile on her face as she said that was enough to tell Sakusa that she was ever so shy about asking the question. She kept fiddling with the his fingers that were being held in her hands. All he could do was keep his smile and pull her into a hug. He gave her a beaming smile before leaning down and placing a kiss onto her lips.

"I thought our conversation already meant we were, but yeah sure I'll be your boyfriend"

Their smiles beamed into the night. No one would be able to dampen their happiness at the two of them finally being able to put a label onto the thoughts they had stuck in their heads for the longest time.
