"I'm sorry to hear about your broomstick Harry Is there no chance of fixing it?" Professor Lupin questioned as he walked through the woods with the twins.
"No," Harry told him "Professor, why do the dementors affect us more than everyone else?"
"Dementors are the foulest creatures to walk this earth. They feed on every good feeling, every happy memory until a person is left with absolutely nothing but his worst experiences" He stopped and turned to the two twins "You two are not weak. Dementor affects you two most because there are true horrors in your paths. Horrors your classmates can scarcely imagine. You have nothing to be ashamed of"
"I'm scared Professor," Harry told him then looked at his sister "We both are"
"Well, I'd consider you a fool if you weren't," He told the two.
"We need to know how to fight them off" Delilah mumbled "You could teach us right? You can tell us how to make them go away just like the night on the train"
"There was only one that night," Professor Lupin told the child.
"But you made it go away," Harry told him.
"Well, I don't pretend to be an expert" They finally stopped at their destination and looked over the lake "But as the dementors seem to have developed a particular interest in the two of you perhaps I should teach you. But after the holidays" The man was out of breath "For now I need to rest"

"Last call for Hogsmeade" Someone called out as Harry and Delilah tried to sneak past the many students in the courtyard their identities covered by the thin layer of their father's invisibility cloak as they made their way through the thick white glistening snow their footprints caught the attention of two red-headed twins. They left the half-made snowman they were making to sneak up on the Potter twins and drag them out of everyone's sight.
"For merlin's sake you two you almost gave me a heart attack!" Delilah whined as Fred held her gently.
"Still a bit young for that don't you think sweetheart" Fred joked as he pulled the cloak off her head causing it to also fall off Harry's and fall into the pair's hands showing the pink blush that was now across the girl's face. "Now where were you two trying to sneak off to?"
"Hogsmeade for your information and we would have got there by now if it wasn't for you idiots pulling us back" Harry spoke rolling his eyes dramatically.
"Oh yeah" George chuckled "Because seeing footprints randomly appear in the snow is not suspicious at all"
"Get to the point you two" Delilah sighed "I'm sure you didn't drag us all the way over here to warn us about a few footprints"
"Smart girl Potter" Fred smiled at her and handed out a blank piece of parchment.
"Oh wow" Delilah grabbed the paper off him flipping it around a few times in her gloved hands she looked over at her brother who seemed to be just as clueless as she was "What the hell is this"
"What this hell is this she says" George rolled his eyes at the girl.
"It's the secret to our success" Fred explained.
"It's a wrench giving it to you" George sighed dramatically as he looked at the parchment.
"But we've decided your needs are greater than ours" Fred rustled Delilah's hair causing the girl to slap his hand away "George if you will"
"I solemnly swear that I am up to no good" George lifted his wand and tapped the paper. As he spoke black ink started to seep through the parchment showing a map.
"Messrs Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs are proud to present the marauder's map" Harry read out his face twisted with confusion.
"We own them so much" Fred smiled down at the Potter twins remembering all the times that map had got him out of trouble. Delilah rolled her eyes at the boy as she looked over the map little name tags of sorts floated around the castle with black footprints following them. Her eyes scanned the page recognising the familiar layout.
"Hang on. This is Hogwarts" Her green eyes scanned the map again catching on a familiar name pacing around in an office "Wait is that..." The girl trailed off as she looked up at the Weasley twins.
"Dumbledore in his study"
"Pacing. Does that a lot"
"Wait so this map shows-" Harry started to talk but was cut off by Fred.
"Everyone"
"Where they are"
"What they're doing"
"Every minute"
"Everyday"
"Gotta admit I'm impressed" Delilah complimented causing the top of Fred's ears to shift from their pink colour to a deep scarlet red "Where did you get it?"
"And why are you showing it to us?" Harry questioned.
"We nicked it from Filches office in first year" Fred explained "And think of it as an early Christmas present" He looked down at the map "There are seven secret passageways out of the castle we'd recommend..."
"This one" They both spoke as they pointed out one of the passageways.
"The one-eyed witch passageway," George told them "Leads you straight to honey dukes"
"But you better hurry" Fred warned "Filch is heading this way" He was about to let the Potter twins go but stopped quickly remembering something "And don't forget when you're done just give it a tap and say mischief managed"
