"One more shot of Vodka for me."
"You've had enough." Liam mumbled and sipped his Bourbon. Louis and Liam were at a club, they had a day off from work. Working at a office was deathly boring and when they had a day off, they were making the most of it.
"C'mon I've only had two." Louis insisted.
"You're already tipsy. And you're driving. I'll buy you a Coke."
"A Coke with Vodka. Sounds good." Louis rambled and waved at the bartender. "Another Vodka for me, please. Put some Coke innit." Louis told the male bartender who had brown hair and beard. "I mean," Louis laughed. "A Coke and put some Vodka innit." He hiccupped.
"Here you go. That's your last one then." The bartender said smirking and gave Louis the Coke with some Vodka.
"Pfft. I'm just getting started." Louis waved his hand and sipped his drink. "Damn that's good."
"Shall we leave? We've got work tomorrow..." Liam sighed and ordered a beer.
"You don't seem like you're leaving any time soon," Louis nodded toward Liam's beer. So what if they'd get totally wasted, Louis just wanted to have fun. "We'll take a cab home." Louis decided.
"Fine." Liam nodded, suddenly freezing at the spot. Louis looked in the direction Liam was staring at and saw a brunette girl. There was no denying, she was beautiful.
"Go talk to her." Louis encouraged his friend who's jaw dropped as he stared the girl drink her Gin.
"Noo, she won't like me." Liam slurred. He was always too insecure. He didn't see the good in him, only the few flaws he had, which Louis couldn't name. Maybe he had a crooked tooth in the back of his mouth.
"Go on. She'll love you." Louis chivvied Liam, patting his back.
"Uh... Okay." Liam sighed and walked up to her. Louis watched them for a while, they seemed to get along well. Liam even managed to make her laugh. They would be a perfect couple, hope Liam wouldn't scew it up.
Louis ordered a few drinks more until he didn't feel like drinking or even clubbing anymore. He didn't wanna go dancing; there was a mass of girls with their crop tops and mini skirts, grinding against the boys' crotches. Louis didn't feel like that tonight. He digged his phone from the back pocket of his jeans and typed Liam a message;
Don't hav too much fun with yo girl ova ther, I'm taking a cab home now, getting tired. See ya at work with a nice hungover :D
He watched Liam for a while more but he didn't seem to notice Louis' text. Well, he would see it sooner or later.
Louis took his denim jacket and made his way through the loud, drunken crowd that was dancing to the unknown song that was playing loudly on the background. He finally got out, the air felt so cool and fresh after the hotness in the club in the heart of London.
Louis made a quick call to the taxi company and sat down on the pavement, crossing his legs and wrapping the jacket on his shoulders. It was currently 00:17am. He'd have to work in six hours. Oh well.
After ten minutes the cab hadn't still showed up. What took them so long? Louis didn't even feel that drunk anymore, the fresh air had done its job. It was like he would've had a beer or two, nothing more.
