It was just about dark outside.
The wind was howling outside and rain starts to pour out of the dim gray sky.
Marinette sits in-front of the window admiring the downpour outside.

Adrien rambles around the hotel looking for his miraculous ring, as for it fell off his finger earlier.

𝑠ℎ𝑖𝑡,𝑠ℎ𝑖𝑡, 𝑠ℎ𝑖𝑡.
he whispers several times under his breath.
Marinette notices his pacing
"Whats wrong?" she questions.

He looks flustered unable to think of something to say.
Marinette tilts her head.

"I- um lost my .. ring .. Its um .. very important to me" He utters.
"I can help you find it!" she asserts while standing up.
Marinette spots the ring almost right away, laying under the desk the tv is placed over.
She bends down and reaches for it and examines it in her hands.

"It.. It almost looks like Chat Noirs ring.." she mutters under her breath.
She looks over at Adrien, who is still looking everywhere he possibly can to find his ring.
"What if he's .. no he couldn't possibly be.
They are nothing alike.."
She looks down at her kwami.
Tikis eyes widen and shrugs it off making it look casual.

"Adrien! I found your ring!" she exclaims.

His face lights up as he sees her holding his ring.
He slides the ring back on his finger and reaches for Marinette to hug her.
"Thank you so much" he adds while smiling.
Marinette's face turns a glistening shade of red as she puts her arms around him as well.

𝗔𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘀 pov:

I lay in my bed unable to sleep.
I can't stop thinking about Marinette.
I hit my head with my fist a few times.
"Im supposed to be in love with Ladybug.." I mutter.

I turn over to look at Marinette dreaming on the other side of the room.
I sigh and sit up.
I put my hand on the back of my neck and start to stand up as I notice Marinette waking up.
I immediately lay back down and put my head under my pillow.

"Adrien?"
I hear her voice call in a sleepy voice.
I look over to her and see her sitting up in her bed.
I sit back up and rub my eyes.
"Yes?"
She puts her hands over her face and tears start to fall from her eyes.

I walk over to her stunned.
Ive .. never seen her cry before..
I sit down next to her and hug her tightly and lay my chin on her head.

𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴

Adrien woke up laying, but still holding Marinette in his arms.
He darts his eyes around the room filled with the light of the morning sun.

He plays around with Marinette's sleek hair and combs it with his fingers.
Marinette lets out a soft noise as she turns her body to face him.
She looks up and practically jumps out of the bed not realizing they had fallen asleep in the same bed.

Adrien laughs, slightly amused by Marinette.
She quickly gets up and laughs awkwardly.
Adrien looks at her now with a more genuine face
"Marinette .. why were you crying last night?"
Marinette gives a flustered look
"Oh .. I- um .. I- felt .. I- uh.."
She stammers.

Adrien gives a soft smile
"We don't have to talk about it."
Adrien stands up and give Marinette a short hug and walks to the bathroom.
Marinette grabs her phone and rings Alya.
The call goes to voicemail so she hangs up.
"She must be busy" Marinette mutters.

Adrien ambles out of the bathroom with a lively
look on his face.
