CHAPTER 3 : BROKEN HEARTED

Harry woke up optimistic about playing with Julia again. He ate breakfast and took a shower. After that he went straight towards Julia's house. Harry started planning the Games that they were going to play. He even hopped like a bunny because he couldn't contain his excitement. He waited there for minutes but Julia hadn't gotten out of their house yet. He suspected that she was just sick and he yelled for her name but there were no answers. Harry thought that Julia and her parents were asleep so he sat down and waited.

- Earlier -

It was early when Julia was woken up by her mother. The sun hadn't risen yet but they were already awake. She took a shower and was surprised that all of her stuff was already packed and ready to go. A sudden sadness swallowed Julia. She realized that she won't be able to say her goodbyes to Harry. Her mother and Father packed and placed everything in the car, They were waiting for her to get into the car. Her father was about to tell her to get into the car but Julia's Mother stopped him.

Julia now stands in front of their house with her head down. It was obvious, she's afraid and hesitant on leaving everything behind, especially her friend, the one who is dearest to her. She's like a butterfly leaving her cocoon too early. Slowly she walked towards the car. Until when she's about to open the door she took a quick good look at their home and hopped in the car.

Hours passed and Harry got impatient. He knocked on the door three times. Nobody answered. The realization crept up on him; his skin started to crawl and the fear made his stomach churned. He belligerently bangs on the door hoping that somebody answers the door but it was all pointless. The door broke down and Harry is on the ground lying on the door. He saw the house empty and cold.

He walked out of the house and headed towards the park. He called out Asmodeus, Klaedeous and Abigail, Harry told them that Julia was gone. They didn't believe him so they went straight towards Julia's house where they found empty rooms and dust collecting on the floor. All of them were shocked at the sudden disappearance of Julia without even saying goodbyes at each other.

Weeks have passed and the summer break is about to end. They went all out playing in the park and all over the town with different kids. Cuts and bruises meant nothing to them as long as they were having fun. Summer came by really fast and they have to get back to school now. With a promising future Harry looked at the sky with a bright shining smile.

"I wish that Julia and I will meet again in the Future" He said while lying down on the cool grass and under the cloudy skies.

A few months later Harry found a beautiful girl. Harry was so interested in her that he didn't even notice that he stared at her for hours. She was pretty: Her skin was flawless, Her eyes were like the moon; captivating, and the way she talked was adorable. She melted Harry's heart within a second.

One day in the Classroom the teacher noticed the excessive stare of Harry towards Tricia - His Crush - The teacher called upon him and asked a question about the discussion. He was shocked that he just stood there with his heart pounding on his chest. The teacher and Harry stared at each other. Eventually the teacher had enough and had him stand up for the rest of the time.

It was the end of the school day and it was time to go home when Tricia saw Harry packing his stuff.

"Hey" Tricia said

"Hey" Harry replied

He didn't notice that Tricia was talking to him. He thought that it was Abigail since they usually start their conversation with a 'Hey'. He does eventually notice and his face starts to blush lightly.

"Do you have a crush on me Harry? Because you're staring at me all the time" Tricia Asked

"N-no" Harry stuttered

But Tricia didn't believe him! His actions were way too suspicious. In her eyes He was cute but she's trying to find out if he can put up with her. So she squinted her eyes and stared intently into Harry's eyes and asked him.

"Really?!" Tricia Interrogated

"Ye- i mean no- but i-" Harry stuttered badly in front of Tricia

Tricia finds it cute so she kisses him on his forehead and leaves. Harry was stunned and couldn't move for a straight minute until Klaedeous entered the room.

"HARRY!!!! LETS GO AND PLAAAY!!!" Klaedeous shouted with pure joy and excitement

"You wouldn't believe what happened today," Harry told Klaedeous with a big smile.

Harry quickly wore his bag and told Klaedeous everything that happened. Meanwhile Julia is still adjusting to the States, the social norms there were totally different from where she came from. She was alienated by the unfamiliar environment and was lonely for a period of time. Until a young boy named Bob became her friend. They go to school together, learn together and play together. They became friends real quick and their bond became stronger and tougher than steel.

Next day came and news came really fast, all of the kids were gossiping about what happened to Tricia and Harry. Harry overheard the conversation of two girls, one girl said that she saw them kissing each other on the lips. To Harry this was really embarrassing, He regretted telling everything to Klaedeous. Before class started Tricia Dragged Harry into a corner where nobody could see them.

"I hate you! Why would you lie like that?" Tricia screamed

"I- di- Klae- to-" Harry stuttered and couldn't reason with Tricia

Tricia was so mad that she slapped the soul out of Harry and left. Harry stood there stunned with a bright red hand mark on his cheek. It was stinging but he told himself that he shouldn't cry because everyone will tease him. He walked back to the Classroom quietly while everyone was staring at him. He sat down quietly with his head down and hid his face with a big book. He looked stupid because the book was upside down.
