said and pause for a while for her response.
"News???about what doctor??"Preeti gets nervous.she knew why she'll get call from America.May be regarding a job offer.But she wasn't ready to listen anything else apart from the news she wanted to hear.
"Dr.Singh made yourself comfortable first.you can sit if your standing"Dr.Jessica said to Preeti.This made Preeti more scared.
"I am fine ... please go ahead."Preeti said to assure her.
"Alright...Dr.Singh.Its about Prem Mehra." She said to her.
"Prem??"Her heart starts beating fast.She starts praying so that,that she would not have to listen something apart from his well being.
"Prem Mehra is alive and he is in our hospital."Dr. jessica revealed.
She gets numb.she couldn't believe what she hear.She is been waiting and praying to listen these words for almost 2 months.And now when Dr.Jessica is telling her the same.She is scared.She felt like she is standing at the edge of a clif.And if it turns out a lie she would fall from there and die in the very next moment.
"Hello???you there???Dr.Singh??"Dr.Jessica speak up when she didn't hear anything from the other side.
Preeti find difficulty in speaking as she was over the edge of crying.Her voice cracked while speaking.
"Haan???.are you ....I mean ..I hope he is My husband Prem.have you??have you confirmed the identity Doctor???
"Please..Please confirm it. as...you would take away my breath if it turns out a lie ..after bringing me back to the life with... with this news.. Doctor"She said and gets emotional.
"Dr. Singh. I have matched the details...from your mail.The picture ..the height..and other details are matching...."Dr.Jessica said but interrupted by her.
"His ...his blood group is ...is ..A....A+...and and.."Preeti said to confirm.
"Dr.Singh ...listen to me.He is 5' 9".A+ blood group .The DNA barcoding that you sent with the mail...is confirming that he is related to Mehra Family.Dr.jessica gets emotional while telling her.But she continues.
"And above everything all ...when he came out of coma.the only name he called out was....Preeti.No doubt he is your husband."She said wiping tears from her own face.she herself didn't understand why she is feeling so much for Preeti.
Preeti overwhelmed with joy and happiness.She couldn't stop herself from crying.Her maid gets tensed.and hold her shoulders.
"Didi.. didi kya hua??"She asked worrying.But Preeti didn't replied her and continue crying.

Preeti still crying couldnt manage to speak for a while.

"Wait...."Dr jessica took the cordless with her to 206.
She found Prem half sitting over the bed and was reading a book that he got from Poli.Though he was instructed not to give to much strees to himself.but he said he would feel better if he reads any book.He specially ask poli to bring "A walk to Remember" noval by Nicholas Sparks.
She found him little disturbed like he's facing difficulty in focusing on book.
