Epilogue

I strode from one end of the clearing to another, pacing restlessly. I had allowed my patience to get the better of me. "Show yourself!" I commanded.

After I had died, I had been sent to a dark forest with no stars. I had woken up with revenge burning in my heart. Revenge to kill her. That was until stars had appeared in the sky, forming a message.

Meet me in your den at sunset, tomorrow.

So, that was where I was. Pacing.

Suddenly, a huge white tom came into my den. His blue eyes found me immediately.

"Who're you?" I stammered. I had to admit, he made me fear for everything I had ever known. He radiated power.

"I'm not the only one," he rumbled, revealing an albino she-cat with pink eyes.

"Hello, D-" the she-cat started.

"Silence!" the white tom roared. "Get on with it!"

The albino she-cat danced around him, pink sparks flying from where her paws touched the ground. I shrank back, the world becoming blurry. I was aware of the white tom saying something, but I couldn't make out what he said.

Then I blacked out.

When I woke up, I was alive. I was underneath a night sky with stars.

I was alive.

It was time to summon my friends and regain my former glory.

A/N it's not the longest epilogue i've ever written, i'll admit. I changed the pov to first person so its more of a mystery of who's pov it was being written from. There are certain clues as well in this chapter. let's have a little challenge. first person to guess who's pov this is written in can ask me a question, it can be a question that will spoil events that will happen later in this series or any series too! but it can be any question ;) 

But Ebony's Roots is finished! This wasn't my best book, I'd say that honor probably goes to one of my novellas in Beyond the Clans, but i'd say i'm improving. The next book is called Broken Amber. It will be about Amberclaw and their quest to find the mysterious mountain cats.
