Containment Breach

A week goes by, you haven't been taken away for any tests like Dr. Rachael ordered. You returned to her to take the stitches out and had put a small bandage on your cut. You would giggle to yourself the time the guard had intruded on you two, and Dr. Rachael would go all flustered.

When you are returned to your cell, you are greeted by your new cellmate. It was a female Class-D. She had short curly black hair, light skin, and looked to be young and of average height.

She was laying on a new mattress on the opposite side of yours. Just staring at the floor and not acknowledging you. You've been alone in your cell for a week without a cellmate, and you're glad that they didn't put you in with a male. Who knows what would have happened if they did. They most likely didn't have any other female Class-Ds until today.

"Hey, I'm Y/N." You say, walking over and extending a hand over to the Class-D.

The Class-D doesn't say anything and just stares at you. Well this is awkward. Instead, she ignores you, turning over to the other side of her bed. The Class-D seems to be in a foul mood, and you were not surprised. Who wouldn't be in this place?

You sighed, and layed down on your bed just as the lights were turned off for bedtime. It was almost pitch black but the light from outside came through the cracks of your cell door, just slightly lighting up the cell.

You were about to fade off to sleep until you heard a quiet sob next to you. You slowly got up to listen again and you heard another sob coming from your cellmate. You thought of comforting her but instead rejected the idea. You remember hearing what the man in the black suit said about you when you arrived in this place. He mentioned something about "another criminal" and your cellmate could possibly be the same. She would've done something horrible to get herself in this place, you don't really feel bad about her situation at all. However, she could be innocent, just like you...

You go to lay back down and get some rest but the sobs of your cellmate only increase until she starts balling out her emotions. You jolt back up, worried the guards will hear her crying and get us both in trouble.

You look over to her form.

"Oi! Stop crying, everyone will hear you!" you try to whisper/shout at her.

She doesn't stop, only crying louder. The sounds of her cry clearly filled the silence outside of our cell. You suddenly hear the faint noise of boots echoing from down the hall.

You quickly get out of bed and jump on your cellmate with your hands then over her mouth. She struggles under your grasp, her cries muffled by your hands.

You look at the entrance of your cell. There's a growing light coming towards you both as you look back down at your cellmate still struggling under you.

"Stop! Please!" You whisper at her.

Still struggling, you tightened your legs between her body and held onto her throat with your extra hand. Slightly squeezing. Limiting her movements, she stops, slightly scared of you.

"Calm down, okay?" you whisper. Close to her face and staring into her eyes with all seriousness. She quickly nods her head.

"Good."

You look back at your cell door. The light is brighter than before. So you quickly get off her and get back into your bed, pretending to be asleep. You hoped your cellmate was doing the same as a Guard walks up to the cell door and shines the torch on his gun into your cell, scanning you then your cellmate. You slowly relax as the guard moves on.

"You should be careful next time. We're meant to be asleep. If we don't follow their orders... They won't hesitate to kill us." You whisper. You think back to when the Class-D wasn't beaten to death for not doing as they were told. They may not do the same for us for not sleeping, but they may beat us until we pass out.
